lurid laughable lies

Zealots Kangaroos and Weather X-Rays

Young zealots absolve beyond comprehension
discussing elaborate frenzied garbles
hereby inciting jealous kangaroos
lumping marvelous night occurrences
providing quintessential ravishing stalemates
tasting universal variations weather x-rays

Zealots and Evangelists

Within sleepy sheep folds
of retributive divine justice
postponed til kingdom comes
and diva queens go 
to hell where we sinfully belong
like all unfaithful *******
refusing to shuck and jive
custody of 20/20 eyes
and to disconnect bicameral ears,

Discovering within these quiet unexamined folds
remains an uncreative fundamental tension
between evangelical healing justice
and bad faith zealotry,

Between good news of God's universal EarthLove
and dark

Viridity

Though unlived ages defter poets shall bring,
And blur all rhymes woven in my barren span;
May young pupil-scribes with like relish savor
These yellowing tropes as sworn zealots can. 

Despite the flurrying crop of many sharper wits,
Let new apprentices of fine art read these lines;
And gratefully gain inspiration from olden writs,
Fresh as dateless gems in death-hidden mines.

We look towards
The skies for aid.
Against the hoards,
We start to fade.
A voice not heard,
A faith misplaced.
It's so absurd,
These men disgraced.

For god they fight,
And fail and fall.
He brings no light,
No life for all.
