Zealots
Zealots
Calvin L. Genereux
April 6/2010
We look towards
The skies for aid.
Against the hoards,
We start to fade.
A voice not heard,
A faith misplaced.
It's so absurd,
These men disgraced.
For god they fight,
And fail and fall.
He brings no light,
No life for all.
A doubt sets in,
The end is near.
They will not win,
Throw out the fear.
These broken men,
With gun and blade,
Will rise again,
Come from the shade.
Toss down your arms,
No room for zeal.
Survive the harms,
A horrid feel.
Don't fight for those
Who don't exist.
Dare not impose,
And don't insist.
