Lets Work It Out

The air in here is really dense
The room is completely tense
Feelings are out in the open
We are both wishin' and hopin'
This gets settled really fast
Before emotions stir and blast
Us both with hateful words
We shouldn't have even heard
Let;s stay calm and sort this out
That's what love is all about
Trust and lots of compromise
Please take a look inside my eyes
The passion and love is there
Open up your heart and hear
My heart beating for you
Sit down we can work it through
Tell me what you are feeling
Then we can both start this healing
We have needed for so long
We can make right every wrong
That is keeping us pinned down
With the angry hearts we've found

Jesus will work it out

Jesus will create waves for you
And let you participate in the depths of certainty
Jesus will work it out
And pave the way for you when
There seems no way
It is good to pray and
See the wonders of Jesus

Jesus will work it out
There is great beauty in His Word
So read it and
See how he works it out

Work It Out

Strength, straight soul
Mobilizing, non-coerce,
Work out salvation.

We Can Work It Out

We can work it out

If not together

And all else fails

Than surely alone

Without suffering the total and
utter indignity

Of our loved one seeing our tears
of pain drain from our red cracked
blistered eyes

Whom will eventually trickle down
either side of our uneven listening faces

That cannot though best we may try to
hide exactly how broken into countless
tiny pieces in actuality it is

Whilst still pretending to carry on
regardless as if we do not have a
care in the world

And that's all well and good as long
as it is day and has not passed over
to night

Because unfortunately sadly then when
we eventually go to bed

The realization comes crashing in that
it is all but you and your head for constant
company

And the pair of you cannot for the life
of you

Work out anything as simple as
1 + 1

Without them never mind you

Work It Out

My colours are green, red and black
Come in a bunches and not in a sack
I make a drink that is alcoholic in taste
Sometimes I have seeds which are a waste

My home country is anywhere that's hot
Eaten with cheese certainly hits the spot
I finish up in a supermarket for you to pick
Don't like to be in a box gets on my wick

One final clue then I'll give you the answer
I'm eaten by all from doctor to dancer
Once chosen there is for me no escape
I am of course dear friend a humble grape

Oh, He will
He's already done it
The LORD will work out his plans for my life
He's gonna work out my life
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
If I'd just be faithful and patient
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna it out
He's gonna change and work my life out
He's gonna work it out-- for me faithful love,
O LORD, endures forever.
He won't abandon me, for He made me.
He's gonna work out my life
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
My God gonna work it out
He's gonna work it out
Oh, He will
He's already done it
The LORD will work out his plans for my life

Work It Out Or Do Without

They stopped talking to him for no apparent reason
He reached out only to be met with silence

So he prayed and reached out again, no response
He prayed and extended an olive branch, to no avail

Then he shook the dirt from his shoes and joy filled his
Heart like floods of flowing waters

He had a new attitude
Peace was his new friend

And he would never go anywhere again
Where he felt he needed to be in

One day the phone rang
And it was one of those people who had ignored him

He said “Hello” as cordial as possible
But something was missing he felt a detachment

The caller was acting as if
Nothing had ever happened

Wanting to talk about trivial things
But the man who once felt marooned

Said he had to go
The caller paused, and said, “I know”

Taking others for granted is a form of torment
Some may frolic while others lament

Just be aware, that when you want to
Grin and bend

The man who was ignored caught the hint

We can work it out!
Just look deep within yourself
summon up your guts;
Nothing is impossible,
let your ideas run wild.

Got To Work It Out

dont you wish you could just close your eyes and forget what happen today
but somehow life is life and it dont work out that way
your problem dont just disappear because this is another day
and even though you are hoping to forget you still have to deal with yesterday

if you did not settle that problem trust me it will still be there
you may think that it happened yesterday and it will seems as if life just not fair
and it will weigh heavy on your heart so dont try to act as if you dont care
but before you start taking it out on everyone you need to take it the lord in prayer

now i seen this happen to alot of good people who didnt find disclosure
someone just happen to strike that very nerve and they lost all composer
and all that respect that they had trust me it was all over
my advice to you is think about what you do for you dont need that type of exsposer

We Can'T Work It Out

Everytime I bring up the subject

We get caught in the loop

perpetually

It is as if we are frozen in this amber forever

forced to relive the same argument

time and time again

"How could you do this to me?"

Opinions matter not

Neither does the McCarthy/Lennon credo,

"Try to see it my way,"

There is only our way

We cannot see what our eyes perceive

As the truth

We are occluded from

Third Person point of view

like a reader who can't quite

understand the vocabulary

Can't quite comprehend

"You said you loved me?"

Each step closer toward you

Pushes you further away

I tiptoe down the hall

Hearing your whisper's call

I dare not answer

Talking is a waste of my time

"So you woke up one morning

and decided you didn't love me anymore?"

The answers are only slightly more painful

The questions like a Gordian knot in my heart

Here comes the loop,

"How could you do this to me?"

We are trapped

The only way out is

to leave this place.
