Hot Breath
excited crowd waits impatiently
earthquakes shake the ground
lava heated boiling water
pushes towards the surface
hot steam spews from the vent
anticipation grows, ready for the eruption
a mighty whoosh and the vented steam
reaches for the blue sky
for a duration of ninety seconds
the crowd is awed by natures power
with a gurgle the steam cloud
settles back into the earth to await
another cycle
An ancient substance,
circling from the sky to the ground,
in its earthly home,
it flows profound.
With a body of jade blue,
twined with occasional rivets of light
it carries the thread of history from before
to now and beyond
traversing milennia worth of night and day.
It holds a captivating and mysterious past
on this tiny blue planet of ours,
in this universe so vast;
time is nothing to it in contrast.
It will remain here.
Far longer than you or I,
indeed far past humans as a whole.
It will stay in its cycle from darkness to light,
a lasting memory, a testament to the Earth.
Floating from the ground below,
Vapored water wispy, slow.
Up it trickles, lightly drawn,
To form a cloud above the lawn.
There it sits, awaiting more,
Till it’s full and ready to pour.
It’s color gray, it starts to quiver,
Until out the water trickles.
Harder, harder, more and more,
Until you have a great downpour!
Slowly, slowly, ending rain,
The cloud is peaceful yet again.
Its water gone, it starts to shrink,
Till there’s nothing left to shrink.
Out the sun comes, drying up,
All the water on the ground,
And the process starts again,
Up, cloud, rain, again.
Ink, the black water,
The necessity for life
Purified by blotters
Contained in clouds in rife
Ink!
Yes, the purest of hydration!
...But what if conflagration
Attempts its dissipation,
Tossing burning embers
Like a pen with ink,
On seas across the nation
Well,
The ink evaporates
And flows into the air
Until it condensates
And pours upon the flares
So...
There is ink they will suppress
Hoping thoughts will evanescence
But writers can't quiesce
Hence:
The ink shall pour down nonetheless
Depression, like the pits and ditches of my heart,
With clear water, like that of blood, does life impart;
Adorning the environs like valued jewels,
Dear lake, how clearly clean cool water in you pools...!
Treasures of art, architecture and ancient tales,
Cultural congruence is hidden in your veils;
My valor, values, and vibrant vivacity,
Draw their vitality from your mortality...!
Within your chilly waters I cheerfully play,
Like an elephant or hippopotamus stay;
Within your womb are ponds, streams, springs and glacial mass,
Serenity, calmness, and composure en-mass...!
I swim, row boat, aqua cycle, and kayaking,
I refresh my bored life with soul-skiing, sailing;
You bring within me optimism, love for nature,
Capable, confident, and love for each creature...!
How I wish to visit countries highest in lakes!
I desire to relish these and forget my aches;
Tracing, transfiguring, and transforming, our drives,
O lake! Perpetually you prosper our lives...!!!

Replenishing the dry land
And helping to fill the lakes and streams
In the mouth of thirsty animals it goes
Never ending cycle of water
Water Water everywhere,
We cannot live without it anywhere.
It is a vital resource,
Which is of utmost use.
But we pollute it and make it dirty,
Without thinking about the situation that without it we will
become thirsty.
Keep it clean or you will be sick,
Leading to so many diseases that will happen very quick.
It comes from clouds in the sky,
Falls on land for water supply.
We can neither add it
Nor subtract it.
For it is a continuous cycle of water
Which cannot be stopped ever.
We use water for so many things,
So why don’t we realise that it’s our duty to conserve before it
leads to its strange occurring.
Programmes and Social awareness have been made among
people about water conservation,
Which has taught many people that our tomorrow is saved only
when we do water preservation.
People are actively taking part in water conservation
By practicing rain water harvesting, afforestation and adopting
sprinkler irrigation.

Jacob's ladder
filled with angels
ascending upward
descending down again
like drops of water
in the ocean
evaporating up, up, up --
returned as clouds burst
deep into the ground
The cycle starts down here on Earth
Our every action sent to Heaven
On the wings of Angels, messengers divine
~ So behave yourself, and you'll be fine
My shape is foreign and often hard to define
I am immortal, infinitely in a constant, repeating cycle,
Ice, water, air, I’m the first thing you need for survival
You search for me in hidden creeks and majestic waterfalls,
You find me as raindrops, morning dew, or even hail balls
I am essential, the very cause and reason you’re alive,
I float and mix in your veins and allow you to thrive
You are full of me, at least sixty percent composed,
You are one with me, from your head to your toes
I am everything, I become anything you put me in,
Whether the material be plastic, glass, or even tin
You freeze me into cubes or mix me into recipes,
You use me as an ingredient, a simple necessity
I am water, something you take for granted these days,
But my shape is so exciting since it comes in many ways.
I am immortal,
Infinitely in a constant cycle,
Ice, water, air, I’m the first thing you need for survival
You search for me in hidden creeks and majestic-looking waterfalls,
You find me as raindrops, morning dew, or even hail pellets
I am essential,
The very cause and reason you’re alive,
I float and mix in your veins, 90% of your blood
You are full of me, at least sixty percent of your body is composed of me,
You are one with my liquid, from your head to your toes
I am everything,
I become anything you put me inside,
Whether the material be plastic, glass, or even aluminum tin
You freeze me into cubes or mix me into complex looking recipes,
You use me as an ingredient, a simple necessity
I am water,
Something everyone takes for granted regularly,
But my shape is so exciting since it comes in many ways.

Change and adapt like water
Stay cool like the ocean breeze
Let your thoughts be challenged and swayed fairly like waves
Never just stay in one place forever like the water cycle
Sometimes it’s better to go with the flow
You may want to swim with the current, but go against it if you have to
Swim with the school, you don’t have to be alone
Flow freely between states of being, no one can tell you that you can’t
Everything changes on the outside, but nothing changes on the inside like the states of matter
You’d rather be clear water than murky water
Remember that even on a rainy day that water will grow opportunities anew for the future

Ice forms new land.
Water is a gentle hand.
Snow buries the dead.
Rain rebirths life ahead.
Clouds house spirits and souls.
Hail falls, heightening the tolls.
Creeks carry the weak.
Rivers bring life to the peak.
Lakes hold waters so old.
Seas claim lives they stole.
Oceans preserve origins of life.
waves cycle around
ebbing turquoise seas
ripples do tease
waves swim fathoms deep
returning to navy blue seas
smiles of pearly foam
surf currents of waves
navy blue road flows
salty drinks on deck
waves oxygenate seas
whales dolphins sharks snappers
ride wave vehicles
waves do break
upon many shore lands
seen crabs clams
waves flow and roll
white pearls teeth foamy tops
smiles back at me
water waves wind
wheeling whirlpool whirls
wreckage washed-up
Once Again
Waves crash upon the sands on a still lonely beach
Raging water stretching out as far as it could reach
Depositing all things caught within it’s powerful hand
Then solemnly retreats, leaving soft ripples in the sand
The sounds, such a mesmerizing effect for all to hear
From each crash, each wave, whitish of foam disappears
Then again, gaining strength, again the wave starts to roll
Crash again upon the sands, each cycle taking it’s toll
Each crash, water depth creeping closer inward to shore
Each wave, rolling of thunder, different from the one before
Each return, eroding sand, uncovering some lost life forms
Each cycle, within all earths violent tidal thunderstorms
Once again her thunderous sound fills the air
Once again she retreats, sights extraordinaire
Once again, this cycle repeats one more time
Once again, within this universal paradigm
