Heaven Sent

Jacob's ladder
  filled with angels
ascending upward
  descending down again

like drops of water
  in the ocean
evaporating up, up, up --
  returned as clouds burst
    deep into the ground

The cycle starts down here on Earth
Our every action sent to Heaven
On the wings of Angels, messengers divine
~ So behave yourself, and you'll be fine

"behave yourself and you'll be fine" -I want to put this on a billboard; so many have to misbehave or their parents do not speak to them or notice them at all.

Indeed each of our action is documented in Heaven . Goodness will be rewarded and wickedness, punished.... the irrevocable law of nature. Your last lines are a beautiful reminder and exhortation to do good. Greshon, people who uphold such values are a blessing!

Your every line sounds off a warning bell and your last line sends the message - well penned my friend. Hugs and Blessings, Jennifer.

I thought this might be a response to Jan's Heaven Scent . . . . .

It actually is in response. I'm on Jan's scent, like a bloodhound. ~ Howlin' Wolf

Gershon, The lasting last message. No reason to believe the distance between ever shortens or lengthens. -Richard

Your poems are worthier than my feeble attempts at praise, Regina. Blessings, Gershon
