Premium Member Deja Vu Venture Along Mental Health Nurture

Aware of déjà vu*’s lexical meaningfulness
my cognition strives to respond with truthfulness
toward preaching about God and His goodness
that drives me back toward nostalgic blissfulness---
at the time He gave me life eternal against worthlessness.

Exposed to déjà vu’s intermittent engagement
my heart thanks the Lord for grace-fulfillment
while reminiscing His assured heavenly settlement
in testifying of divine encounter granting blest endowment---
every time I share peace cheers with encouragement.

Confronted with déjà vu’s seemingly enigmatic nature
my soul, ransomed by the Saviour, avoids mystical venture
for the pursuit of effective faith-posture along mental health nurture
propelled by nourishing compassionate gesture---
when at times, I’m beset with bitterness and pride’s torture.

Learning déjà vu’s facets midst psychological insight
my mind praises Christ for wondrous mental faculties’ height
along recollection, remembering and familiarity delight
bursting “already seen” remark yet with uncertainty-blight---
thus, time I have to check toward accuracy that’s right.

Now facing déjà vu’s essence vis-à-vis factual reality
my spirit believes in moment’s functionality along versatility
never an illusion, but proven by experience in its sensibility
especially when dealing with matters of life’s vitality---
since time* is God’s creation, aiding our existence-verity.

*Psalm 31:14-15 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand…

You My Son Shall Venture Forth Without Fear

You my son shall wander into vast halls,
sit by craggy rocks upon mountain peak.
Hear the wisdom in Nature's sweetest calls,
wade in deeper where rushing waters speak.
Listen to night owls as they softly hoot,
see the slow sinking moon sparkle anew.
Walk soundly, learning to ride, rope and shoot,
sail daringly upon great oceans blue.
You my son shall venture forth without fear,
face the darkest storm and its mighty blast.
Hold out against great pain without a tear,
catch fish on each and every thoughtful cast.

Yes, you my son, shall do better than I.
This my last prayer pleads before I die.

Feel the pulse
Dawn ushers light;
Songbird sermon

~~~~~~~~~
Noisy feet detour
Winding footpath;
Suffocates silence
~~~~~~~~~

Busy overload
Mobile devices talk;
Choking silence

~~~~~~~~~
Dreams evaporate
Working day attire;
Drowsy loitering
~~~~~~~~~

Morning temple crowd
Chanting melody;
Incensed offerings

~~~~~~~~~
Sleepy eyes gaze
Blurry focus here;
Work day conspires
~~~~~~~~~

Blank faces
Crowded lift descends;
Zero contracts

~~~~~~~~~
Strange interface
Sea of faces;
Out-of-place
~~~~~~~~~

Subtle tension
Deliberate silence;
Roaming devices

~~~~~~~~~
Office mall complex
Busy feet intersect;
Faces unnoticed
~~~~~~~~~

Cold weather presides
Mindful meditation;
Sense finds feeling

Pretty woman
Crowded atmosphere;
Train ride punctuation

~~~~~~~~~
Stray conversations
Handy mobile cellphones;
Subway friendly talk time
Shaggy dog walking
Owner on a leash;
Random fertiliser
Office encounters
Dance of work regime;
Busy distractions
Action in commotion;
Productivity gains
Sea of faces
Awesome potential;
Lost in a crowd
Premium Member Farewell To Selfish Venture
Bidding farewell to worldliness' festival
I turn to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God*, Source of spiritual revival...
He graciously wrought great changes in my life by His grand arrival
Assuring me salvation from hell’s condemnation and sinful survival
Giving me glorious life eternal, enabling my divine blessed upheaval.
Saying goodbye to pride-caused blindness
I move on, thanking the Almighty for illumining by His loving kindness…
Healing my soul’s iniquity-afflictions with His wondrous forgiveness
Clearing my blurred vision through His wisdom’s counseling brightness
Upholding my biblical faith, subduing my skepticism and doubtfulness.
Lingering midst serene adieu-flight after parting from selfishness-blight
I praise the omnipotent Creator-Lord midst His holiness-might…
Smiting my vain arrogance to yield humbly to His supreme sovereign height
Reproving my grievous disobedience, leading me to His will, perfectly right
Bracing me upon His strength so I can serve Him with joyous delight.
*John 1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
I Want To Venture
there is intrigue to conjecture
go ahead play on the safe side
so that you don’t get hurt
I got a taste for the danger
nothing ventured nothing gain
how can you expect to hit your target
when you never aimed
I will never be bitter
I can’t be a hater
God made my moves different from the rest
and it is not a shame to be a dreamer
A New Venture
A New Venture
I was hit by a massive blow
And remained stunned until I know not when.
Life seemed to have come to a notch.
Hours, days, weeks trudged on slowly
until an innovative ideation struck me
like a shooting arrow deep into my heart
piercing my very being.
It was the awakening!
My backbone straightened,
as shoulders rose up to their full height,
the mind cleared while the eyes began to envision.
I stood on my feet light as ever.
excitement overtook the daze and confusion.
I opened new doorways and brazenly enjoyed the raison d'être
of my hidden desires.
The Sprout Family Venture Forth
Ignatius Sprout pushed himself to the surface
As he was the foremost elected leader
Followers, Bamber, Gottre, Bovis and Night
were all reluctant to escape their prison
None could remember how or why they were trapped
Bamber's head popped out, flapping his long green ears
Ignatius frowned down at his friend's reluctance
"Up, Up," he demanded co-operation
Bamber slowly blinked, adjusting to the light
Being bumped firmly from below, he hopped out
onto the grassy green, dew wet, riverbank
"Ah! Ah!" beamed Ignatius, pumping Bamber's  hand
"It's great?" indicating the Spring countryside
Bamber grunted, mopping his perspiring head
From the hole came Gottre followed by Bovis
Excitedly, the twins jumped giving high fives
Then started prancing about shouting in glee
"Humph" said Ignatius loudly, "you two behave"
Gottre and Bovis did not heed the rebuke
They were obliviously sniffing nasturtiums
And playing hide seek amongst the dahlias
"Where's Night?". questioned Ignatius rubbing his head
Which started itching from a pesky midge bite
Bamber crouched down low and hallowed down the hole
They heard Night's squeaky voice asking them for help
They all hunted around for a creeping vine
The pain of Night stretched their ingenuity
But they managed to lift him by small degrees
Binding his ankle with a soft cabbage leaf
They all ventured forth to a new adventure.
Premium Member Venture of the False Prophet
Wears blue in the day but red at night
evil motives intoxicate like wine
he is so holy even when he writes
but miserable when he secretly dine
the only job is increase in members
he gives the word mostly in half knowledge
the actual truth, very few remember
making the church be a dirty cottage
do as I say not how I abide
show on stage for money and bank to greet
the fire of anointing has long died
but the display of power still stays neat
the great command is to sincerely preach
bringing the hand of God to all’s reach.
Exhortation On the Wings of Accusation
I want this venture to spread wide
And her first walk a giant stride.
So, let's face things from every side,
Checking, wisely, losing man's pride...
Some had this tried and later cried
For lent ears to cut and dried,
Besides who shall have the sweet bride:
Who, in deed, should the horse first ride?
What I now see: men who schemes hide'
To whom hope of true change had died:
Guys who can Satan's - type time bide
And have Christ nine times denied!
Let him fly who can also glide:
His truth: he'd many times lied
Venture
"VENTURE"
the world says a
man must love a
woman.
that he must love
her more than himself.
that he must be
everything she has
ever sought after.
the world has been
dying since it's creation.
thank the gods,
I am single.
'If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door'
                      Milton Berle
Outstretched clever Macadamia tree
Bears talents of both Mama and Papa
Fruit materialised due to insect interlopers
Dangled able honey hundred raceme
Languished beneath its branched limbs
Belonging to this land and each other
Our dream developed entity envelopes
Steadily relishing everything which comes
Impediments proffered excuses to resist
To remain staid, refrain from addendum
Instead choosing skyline over stagnation
Sacrifices made to subsume wider merits
Beholding splendour of shade waved bracts
Combined courage brought bountiful outcome
Prospect extends with each Summer harvest
Macadamia Mama Papa caretaker provides
Canopy which oversees posterity of centuries
Husk crack reveals creamiest tongue rolled gems
In our phonetics class of tongue-tasking
Students delight in pronunciation basking
Musk is distinct against mosque… just checking
And musk differs from mask; that’s so striking!
With definitions for queries, asking
“Can musking be right, when mask has masking?”
Yes, musk is common noun … now, scent, leaking
While Boy Musk is fresh from fish-smell stinking.
In science, musk is said for right picking
As good perfume in adventure trekking
Likewise used to treat and heal some aching
With medicinal aid for health’s waking.
For musk benefits* of mankind’s seeking
Such are favored to fight body-wrecking
That shouts “I’m alive, alert, still kicking…
Thank God for His grace; I praise Him, my King!**
Premium Member This Road We Venture
The writer, the reader, and the writing.
The lines that divide them are marginal.
A symbiotic relationship built upon words.
An author blazes a trail hewn from letters.
Traveled by the readers, great and few.
To each find themselves at the same end.
This road we venture alone and yet together.
Premium Member Play It Safe Or Venture Out
Swimming in the shallow end
is fairly safe and sound,
you can't go down very deep
before you touch the ground.
Swimming in the deeper end
means there's more room for play,
the cost is that there is more risk,
and you may have to pay.
Play it safe or venture out;
you choose what you will do.
No one else will make your way,
it's always up to you.
