Suck off
Ted’s teaching grandma to suck eggs
“Don’t patronise me lad,” she begs
"It’s a job I can do
SO much better than you
Just scarper on your asses legs!"
Gran whispers words I won’t repeat
Ted’s blushes as red as a beet
She is so worldly wise
And it is no surprise
This jackass won’t usurp her seat!

Thesaurus sits waiting
ready for my direction
autumn feelings usurp it
fly buzzes by my left ear
dogs stare curiously at me
waiting for a signal
second fly lands on my right ankle
robins and wrens converse
their garbly gook sounds serious
we are all calm here
my dogs and I
loving the outdoors today

Campbell's 'Soup' is no more, with its name change usurp,
Eating soup without a label, makes me a twerp,
I’ve sipped every bowl,
Now it’s taking a toll,
If I ladle soup, with no soup label, I’ll burp!

A man is born homo-Erectus
Into a world
Where women wants
To usurp authority
A world where
Women will electrocute her man
If she can’t wrap him
Around her little fingers
Thus I often beg God
For one big favor…
Let me die
The death of the righteous
The day I become
An endangered mouse

Glass illusions forestry of butterflies in flight
swiveling and turning wing, aiming for sun
hovering over lulling waters of purple hues
Breathing like flowers, frilling up the air
inside a cornucopia world of rich and bright
Birds are calling from afar symmetrical chirps
of grandeur, across the wide expanse
nocturnal illumination of the heart and soul
Varathane music sonatas, flute escapades
within a dormant brook, nature's usurp
Fairies, trellises, and magic twigs interlinked
inside the Foloi forest, the mighty oak respires
aside centaurs and dryads, of their time
an emerald green, bottled by nature herself
all is transformed here, even the sky is pinked
Altered, Remodeled, Reworked, Transformed,
by my sweet, poetic imagination...

Each flower speaks; each bud shares this silently; each bird chirps.
Isn't the cry of each creature an urgent call for love?
Even the wicked acts of the criminals who usurp
Reveal the love they get from others and the love they give.
In my intimacy with loved ones, my heart beats faster.
In my passion for my spouse, butterflies, in my mind, flit
In the graces I gain in love, no pain is my master.
To the true cause of love, my physique and psyche submit.
I've abundant affirmations and truths to stand by them
I offer generously my time, energy, and gifts.
My physical touch goes beyond any sensual realm.
My readiness to reconcile rectifies all our rifts.
Love lives and lets live; lightening languid loads love lets go
Love doesn't look the one who is loved is a friend or foe.

(Coup de grâce)
Oh, it’ll be so easy if only
I, in collusion with
the angels and the demons,
usurp God from heaven.
It will be a crucial coup
to overthrow God
and enthrone the Devil.
With such malice and hostility
of man toward man
it’s beneficial to let the devil
take over for a change
and let humankind destroy itself.

Mother is just a simple word,
that often in the home is heard.
A noun, a person young or old,
a verb which many roles enfold.
Ordained by God, children to birth,
And populate the virgin earth.
To nurture them with tender care,
an instrument His love to share.
The one who holds a nation’s reins,
she educates her children’s brains.
When mother fails to play her role,
the whole society pays the toll.
Instead of demeaning her role
Let’s lift up Mother on a pole.
When governments usurp her place
What baleful woes societies face.
Let’s celebrate this Mother’s Day
not in the usual kind of way.
Resolve to preserve mother’s role,
So, society can remain whole.

I doubt. Therefore I think; therefore I am.
I’m not who I was. I’m not who I’ll be.
Is man a spiritual spectrogram?
Ever changing; as though a conscious sea.
All victims of an earthly circumstance,
we are conditioned for our social roles;
artificially. Ignorance entranced
with instant reward; while negating souls.
Surely there’s something meaningful linking
this life to that after. Some true purpose;
supremely greater than wishful thinking.
An army of opinions usurp us—
Is there a way to see one’s self clearer?
To find one’s true essence; break the mirror!

By labeling as dog or swine,
I thus usurp decrees divine.
By casting pearls, I abdicate
A chance to share that God is great.
The flavor of the pulp was moot
In Mrs. Doubtfire’s drive-by fruit.
The gospel is a precious thing,
Not deadly stones launched with a sling.
When my salvation’s cause to gloat,
The chance I see my beam’s remote.
For ere God got a hold of me,
I fear I was far worse than thee.
So I will pick my words with care,
And come along beside you there.
I’ll not begrudge your heart’s incline,
Nor hurl my pearl, nor think you swine,
And then perhaps we’ll both agree:
Our Judge alone can set us free.

Anxiety
Written: by Miracle Man
August 19, 2021
Believing forthcoming days won’t be sublime,
allow habits and idiosyncrasies to irritate.
All thoughts of delight will wither in time,
and days are spent scrambling to acclimate.
Embraced are those thoughts of wistful years,
praying future days don’t house sameness.
Then taking final inventory of life’s souvenirs,
and allowing others to usurp our saneness.
Many go through life hearing negative songs,
but “Love keeps no records of our wrongs.”
1 Corinthians 13 KJV
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes...

Under dim sky of doubt
umpteen times I’ve wondered,
unkind world would ever
usher in empathy.
Utopian thought this,
unless the base instincts
usurp us forever.

Ships
aground
all around
rolling, roiling
waters of midnight’s sudden surprise storm.
Willful winds usurp and fling sea vessels
hither and yon
uncaring
ruthless
rush.
