What ever happened to life,
Is it now occupied too much by strife?
I don't think no answers will come,
Or should I just succumb.
Love can only solve this.
We have to understand that our lives are gifts.
Is the world spinning so fast,
Or is it the time to forget the past.
In a world filled with changes each and every day,
That is why we constantly need to pray.
Why don't we open our eyes and see,
This is real and not a illusion but it is reality.
I believe we live and die by the choices we make,
But there's only so much a person can take.
Only we as humans can determine our fate,
As long as we are still living it's never too late.
There are always moments of glory, joy and pain,
Now days not too much will be sane.
In this life I'm going to wear the biggest smile even though I want to cry.
I'm going to fight to live even though I'm destined to die.
For those full of spite and always complaining,
The world is full of darkness; I still believe there is hope remaining.

James 4:14 ESV "Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life?
For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes."

Stairway To Heaven

A long dark road this was...
Walked through spikes and volcanic earth
I reach the end of the line
And see two doors... I await in amaze
Await for the right one to open...
But nothing happens... Both doors are shut
Seems I have to chose my fate
Looking at the right I see beautiful light
Looking at the left I see nothing but black
I think while looking at the right one...
The world isn't an easy place...
We have to fight for what we want
We don't just get everything without working...
I think while looking at the left one...
This world seems a hard place to live in...
Needs a lot of work to do...
But maybe in the end of it i see a gleaming light...
I open the left door
And freezing wind strikes my forehead
Making my eyes bleed
Making my cheeks stiffen
I walk with glory and honor
Just thinking of the end
I reach the end...
I find Heaven..

Fleeting Serenity

Longing for solace, for peace,
Within this world of hostility,

Late at night it is found,
for a fleeting moment,
An ephemeral glimpse of eternal strength

Beneath the lofty arching canopy,
She lingers, she listens,

Be still
Emerging through the tranquility,
singing surrounds her

In the darkness,
Thrusting branches yawn, and stretch, and cry

The luminous moon casts laced shadows across her path,
Leaping and swirling like a pool of dancing jasmine,
She lets the night air envelope her,

In a cocoon of serenity,
She is safely spun,
betwixt whispering winds and silvery silken threads of moonlight

She is at peace,
She has found her home,

But then,
By the slanting light of a dewy morning,
The window into this world of balance and harmony,
Is once again sealed….

Where Do We Are??????

There’s times when we feel alone,
When nothing quite makes sense.
The world is busy rushing by,
And it makes no difference.

Needing and wanting to be needed,
Wishing upon each and every star.
Fingers itching to reach out,
Feeling so near and yet so far.

Loose your inhabitations,
Come and fly with me.
To a place the stars can’t reach,
Our own reality.

We can be our own lullaby,
Chase our fears away.
A thousand wishes can come true,
Turn our back on humdrums haze.

The adventure is oh so simple,
The whisper of magic is in the air,
Just relax and take the ride.
A whole world of "us" to share.

Genie In the Bottle...

Genie in the bottle...
Thank you for granting three wishes to me; so here they are...
Allow me to explain through my poetry, for I am the fallen star!

Genie in the bottle...
My first wish would be, to live in a world of peace and equality for all eternity!
Because of all the violence equals death and silence and that's just not a world for me!!

Genie in the bottle...
My second wish, well let's see...How bout a cure for every disease!?
Because cancer has affected me, and millions of other families!

Genie in the bottle...
My third and final wish is simply the best, the best one out of the group
And this comes from the heart in my chest, that every poets dreams come true here on

Astral Projection

Unencumbered by my body mass and girth
I fly along at the speed of whim
Unconcerned about physical attributes
I can focus on the joy and beauty of my vantage point
The world below and out in front of me, opens
The world of noise and doubt inside of me, closes
In this place of "betweens" I find solace
In this place of "infinites" I find myself
                                                  .......drifting....
                                                                   .......yearning.....
                                                                                     ...........growing.

In Cupped Hands

In cupped hands you hold a world of scented butterflies
where time hangs from a golden thread spun with tears and night
where nasturtiums grow from seeds of laughter
and there is warmth over the rainbow.

In cupped hands you see a castle hovering in the air
with domes of silver pointing toward a world that lies beyond
with long-drawn windows shaped like almond eyes
that wink and call upon a winding wind.

In cupped hands you preserve an unspoken dream
that is stilled in a cosmos pool dappled with sunlight
that may all be lost with just a jerk of your fingers
and shatter into illusions of watercolor paintings.

In cupped hands you nestle the lost ending to a song
In cupped hands you hold a glimpse of what is real.

Mission Statement

What does it mean

‘inherit the world’

To receive on a silver platter

Our parent’s throwaways

Mountains of Styrofoam

Drenched with acid rain

Soon the only trees will be

On display in glass cases

‘Take this world and make it better’

They throw us the torch

But the flame is gone

Already extinguished

They want us to revolutionize

To recreate the fervor or the sixties

But don’t they realize –

We are the same as them.

We will smoke ourselves

Into a stupor

We will lose our

Youthful optimism

And sell out, drive miatas

Look to our children

As a means to our salvation

How can you change a world

Caught in a cycle of

Vision fading into desire

It is an impossible challenge

To slow the disintegration of

Our revolving orb –

To make the world a better place,

For our children,

But

I am full of youth and vigor

I have boundless, groundless faith

I will take up the torch

And relight it

I will finish what I start.

Death will be the only obstacle

I will not overcome.

The World Is Thine

You there!! Be happy and smile
Over sorry days don’t whine
Never lose heart, never resign
Time is sterner to the supine
Keep the faith the world is thine
Tomorrow the sun you’ll outshine

Nothing deserves a Man’s cry
Your tears for once do dry
Felicity your likes do vie
Soar the skies, free do fly
Go high, and high and high
Hope has never been a lie

Ahead for ever do go
Your head never bow
Strong, winds may blow
Recall only the marrow
Chasing a storm the rainbow
Green regenerated meadow

Come and sing along
Join your voice to this song
The world to you does belong
Life will recover erelong
Be it here, there or by the Mekong.

Escape

I closed my eyes
Looking for a place to hide
Searching for some where
To get away,
From my terrors and pain

Seeking a world,
Were burses all will fade away.
A world were I can’t feel this pain,
Wouldn’t have to bear this heavy weight.
A place that I could find,
Were all my scares disappear.
A place were I don’t have to live in fear.
I would take you all there

One day I’ll find this place
And to the whole world
I’ll give it it share

Sunset

A dull, grey sky filled my day
Clammy and dank the air stood
When to my surprise the sun peeked out so bright

Heavy and clumsy I stood in my way
Depressed today it seemed I would
But with the colors so vibrant I felt my mood turn light

Down and deep I started to escape
To my world dark and dank
Yet this sunset was so beautiful I tried to freeze the event

‘tho depressed, my emotions I’ll reshape
I’ll force out my darkness so rank
I can see what the beauty of the world can prevent

Growth

Like a hurricane,
the world spins on its axis,
around and around.
Never ceases.
And I,
I see the beauty
in your soul.
Trying to escape,
like a seedling
trying to see the sun.
Show the world
your true self,
and there I'll be
waiting
with open arms
to welcome you in, dry your tears.
My darling,
Share that beauty with the world.
Teach it how to feel.

Heaven's Keeper

Show him hearts
scorned by grief,
with no view of hope
or any relief.

He’ll take those hearts
where others mend,
in a world of joy
that’ll never end.

He’s a prayer away
in a world of light.
Where no one will suffer
through day or night.

He’s where our
final destinies lie,
an enlightened place
beyond the sky.

Victory - Heroes Indeed

The worlds’ heroes merge and emerge

Just as the world is about to sink into unrecoverable oblivion

They appear
looking fearless
dauntless in their toughness
Fighting relentless, persistent
Heroes indeed
Consisting of you & me
Collapsing erected barriers
Gradually vanishing & erasing every tormenting, terrorizing & petrifying emotions
Seizing their authorities of mass control, “their weapons of mass destruction”
Retrieving our almost tormented, lost & vanishing hope
Returning back a scarce part of our reality, peace by unity
The product of our message of hope

Our achievement

Thanks to us, your heroes indeed.

NOTE
When we turn to work together instead of fighting, then peace
will be restored to the world by us, ourselves if we choose to. When we choose to unite
instead of fight evil-hatred-lies-war will be idle-jobless and then music will be at its peak
and then we will enjoy the very best of resources.

NOTE
We can all be heroes, our choice but true heroes never refuse to fight for what is right
where ever they are. True heroes appear when they are needed.

The One We Proclaim Through the Ages. ( Sung To What Child Is This?)

She hugs Him tight on this frigid night,
Vedi Dolorosa Mater.( Latin meaning: I saw the most sorrowful mother.)
Some shepherds shout as the sky about
becomes angels to honor His Father.
  CHORUS:
Sweet, sweet are his cheeks so meek
in whom rags enfold
and soon kings bring gold.
Sweet bliss reigns
as His Father deigns
for the One we proclaim through the ages.

The oxen snort as the world cavorts
they ignore all the hope He is bringing.
Yet even now, as the mule and cow
raise their eyes to the angels still singing.
CHORUS:
Kneel, kneel to this King and sing
of His precious love
sent from God above.
The world will know
in the swirling snow
of the One we proclaim through the ages.
