PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN

When you decide to have children
You have to accept the good and bad
I know every parent need a break
To untwine and relax to gather
Their thoughts and feelings
But once you decide to have children
Your life changes and so does
Your feelings, sometimes your overwhelm
Just remember that you're not entitled
To disrupt anyone else's life nor their time
Just because you need a break
Don't expect or demand that
Your family have to help raise
Your kids, like grand-parents, siblings
Nieces or nephews, you can't force
Anyone's hands, by just dropping
Your kids off and leaving when
The person has told you no already and
That they have plans of their own or just
Expecting someone to give up
Their time for you, wake-up

Too long I limped along a lonely road, born into this Sahara desert of a life,
parched and hungry, face weathered and gaunt.
A deaf, dumb, and blind man, drawn and quartered by her knife,
back tarred and feathered by a vulture's taunt.

I searched the wide world for your wonderful smile,
tired soul devoid of that whole, found wanting of the other half.
Try to find the right words, after each lost and lonely mile,
my sorrows washed away by that sweet, infectious laugh.

Like hopeless romantic's lot, who climbed out of a dark place,
beyond my wildest dreams, I finally found you.
Yet daft was I to hear not., your prayer for love's embrace..
as two hearts lifted in love were bound to.

When last moon fades, no more hopeless romantics left,
and strings of sanguine hearts untwine.
I will hold on to memory's tender touch yet,
and all the warm days when you were mine.

A Birthday To Be

A Birthday to be
April been good to me.
I do not celebrate it much
But you still satisfied me
41 was a big step now soon to be 42.
My soon to be 18 year old son is still my best birthday present so dear to me.
You been with me through all my ups and downs
Even when my parents separate you never give up on me.
You Are a celebration of month of love and more.
I am happy I was born of a month perfect to me.
All month are special in they own way.
But I am glad you are my month were love is wild, and Easter spring blossom untwine.

You Are Still My Valentine

years ago my heart strings you did untwine

fortunately love sickness has no diagnosis

your kiss is sweeter than sweet dessert wine

supplying me with affection in powerful doses

our love for each other is without doubt genuine,

year on year our love, sincerity, devotion grows,

our life together is heaven sent quite Devine

predictably every February I give you a rose

take you out, propose as we wine and dine

over the table I look at you, you look at me

I see nothing but beauty, can’t believe you’re mine,

your melodic tones fill my senses with glee

our future is so secure there’s no finishing line

if I was to lose you my life would be over

it would be like living without any sunshine,

while with you I’m happy living in clover

your mark on my heart you did indelibly sign

so without doubt I don’t take things for granted

our compatibility is not impossible to define

you took Cupid’s arrow and in my heart planted,

with hope I request and beg you to be my valentine.

The Pug of Purest Gold

A Pug’s your pal for always,
Through cloudy days or fine;
She’ll lie stretched out beside you,
And curly tail untwine.
Perhaps your world’s gone haywire,
And things seem far from fair;
To her it matters little,
So long as you are there.
This chubby bundle’s waiting
In Failure or success,
And from her warmth of welcome,
Great wealth you can possess.
She’s one of life’s great treasures,
Whose value is untold,
For every Pug is minted,
From the fine and purest gold.

November Warmth

N November's sunny day unfolds.
O Oval like raindrops quench my soul.
V Vapors of healing encircle my mind.
E Elegant thoughts slowly untwine.
M Majestic colors my eyes they do delight.
B Butterflies dance in their last yearly flight.
E Embers of warmth continue to fade.
R Romantic November exits with a leafy,
   colorful cascade.

Premium MemberParting Hearts

Life is a scene of comings and partings.
We once to mighty love did come—oh, how
sweetly we came!
And long did we last like twinkles in the sky.
But now we part to different arms—oh, how
swiftly we do!
The sweet breath of a stranger has blown into
thine heart and there quenched the flame that
once kept our love warm.
‘Tis time to untwine our hearts and untwine
our tears
And to pray to grieving Heaven that to those
blazing arms that now beckon
We'll forever come and come and come and
never once part
Whilst we ride and love in the fields of eternity!

Rain Dancer

Days and nights of hibernation
within the clapboard walls,
winter winds have eased
and only the sound of rain peals
upon the storm glass panes.

The desire to go out, to run, to scream
is strong, yet, on the rain taps a tarantella.
The parting soil unbound from icy grasp
permits the spear of crocus and of daffodil
and though the rain drones
an accompaniment with the clock
sleep does not come.

Knots of lassitude untwine
as child-like upon the open porch I stand
reaching upturned palm into the falling rain
watching as it strokes the waking ground.
Cleansed are we all by sky and rain and wind
rain on, bless the ground, let Spring begin.

Love Is Confusion

Hatred is an expression on my face when i see you
to know that you could untwine feelings so fast is just disturbing
and you know i loved you so, you know i acepted your flaws threw and threw
how did we go from so in love to having such hatrididcal thoughts about one another
for i must have done something wrong to make you contridicte your feelings because you claimed they were so strong
i made the mistake and let you controle me morally so now i must start back from step one
you have left me alone now to re-evalute my outlook on life
but some people have said do not focus on your outlook focus on your out put

Black Rose

I continue to find myself in a pensive state of mind.
Giving time more time.
Even worse, i'm wasting time thinking of the time I've wasted.
Letting thoughts untwine reminessing of the passions tasted.

Here I stand a man with no set destination.
No guides no plan , no helping hand.
Just heroes for who I show admiration.

Just another try to ignite the spark, to set the blaze so I can with stand the fire.
Just another chance to form iron from this ire.

All these thoughts that have been written down left unread.
So hard to forget the words never spoken.
How easy it is to admire the lies that are so token.
How delightful it is that hearts gravitate towards another when broken.

These forms and ideas together they untwine.
How each dark thought sprouts in the night.
How the black rose blooms in the lack of light.

Falling

Trickling down, my soul passed.
Like a raging beast, declining fast.
Decreasing power, this empty core.
Descending desire; lust nevermore.

Draining ambition, mislaid beyond.
Seeping distrust, this violent bond.
Cradling youth; as yesterday’s past.
Spiraling downward; falling so fast.

Sketching our love; tracing our ties.
Shackled in pain; festering in lies.
Plunging below, coming up for air,
Sinking in stench; suddenly aware.

Plummeting quickly; hearts untwine.
A failing romance; yours and mine.
Dropping below the depth of mind,
Tumbling hastily – hatred we find.

Reducing strength; ambition dives.
Fondling the ideal, our lives will thrive.
Exhausting demands; love we’ve cast.
Hitting rock bottom; lost within the past.

Forever Addicted

Your kiss ignites the ashes layered across my soul.
Adrenaline guides the flame;
The heat melts the ice in my veins.
My muscles twitch and quiver,
I surrender to your consuming embrace.

Your gentle caress soothes the burn.
Your warm breath envelops me;
Smoke rises and drifts away.
We stand in the pouring rain.

Your eyes gaze intently into mine.
My darkest secrets betray me;
Fear flickers behind failed intentions.
Our hearts stop beating,
Our fingers slowly untwine.

Your cold smile slices through my apology.
Words drip useless to the ground;
The heat abandons my body,
I scream as you walk away.
Your affection engages violent fantasies.
Lies somehow became the truth;
Your name is tattooed over them all.
Your hate fuels my aggression,
The flame glows deep within.

Kiss me and breathe in the heat.
You brand me with your curse;
Don’t deny the sting,
This mistake refuses to be swept away

Vampire Wine

As I pour into my glass and sip on Vampire Wine...
The full body of it, begins to untwine in my mine...
As I slowly slip into a Hypnotic State...
And go into time of Love and Lust for the Passion of the dark red drink of mine...
I drown in it all as it brings out, that time is running out.
For that Vampire Wine is all the imagine of a Man who will Love you for all of time.
Vampire Wine please don't unwind, for the imagine is all mine...
For all of my time as I slowly , slip away in that glass of dark red wine.
That Hypnotic State is all mine...
This 13th hour of time...
This Vampire Wine.
