 "The mountains are my bones
The rivers my veins
The forest are my thoughts
And the stars are my dreams
The ocean is my heart
It's pounding is my pulse
The sounds of the earth write
The music of my soul"

I find that inspiring- how Mother Nature heals,
after devastation beginning new untiring;
her deep scars she easily repairs and conceals,
I find that inspiring.

I seek my serene- in all that nature reveals,
in green lush seeking scenes I know she is not retiring;
from nothing- out pops a new green leaf that appeals.

I grasp the lesson that Mother Nature unseals,
that whatever-   we should always, always be inquiring;
for from upheaval and destruction beauty steals,
I find that inspiring.

Lucifer The Fallen Angel
Written: by Tom Wright
4/29/2018

Lucifer’s mouth is an outpouring of empty pledges,
And he can’t support the prevarication that he alleges.
His sole intent is for man’s thoughts to begrime,
The biggest lie he tells is that you’ve plenty of time.

Lucifer unseals many doors but much to our chagrin,
It stimulates us to view things through the lens of sin.
If “we have the peace that passeth all understanding,”**
We experience life finding our days less demanding.

His promises melt like Gummy Bears in summer heat,
Painting sin to look enticing, but results are bittersweet.
His tongue is that of a viper leaving you with naught,
A pretender he is, until such time that we’re caught.

The prince of the air’s reign will be the bottomless pit,
If we die lost, God in judgment for our sin won’t acquit.
The devil has succeeded we’re now eternally entrenched,
“Where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched”. *

Surrender

Surrender unseals a heart
It allows that which is to be.

Surrender requires trusting
To leave illusions of control behind.

Surrender makes the complex simple
It precludes false conflicts or diversion.

Surrender speaks not of power
Yet it walks a path of strength.

Surrender supports one's essence
It does not give away the self.

Surrender builds on passion
By showing that heart's devotion.

Surrender reveals connections
It prevents misguided battles.

Surrender draws out the laughter
Revealing truths and open doors.

Surrender is not a me or a you
It exists in the world of we.

Surrender kills the pretense
Rejecting the false pride.

Surrender lives in hope
Its a word for that open heart.

A SENSUAL approach UNSEALS the door to her heart.

Her cheeks turn red as warmth flows in.
His fingers play upon her skin.

Titillating ... teasing ... they take their time.

Premium MemberSimple

A simple poem's what I write
For I am just a simple man,
Quite frequently they write themselves,
And most without a master plan.

A title sometimes leads the way,
A dream can also be my muse,
But mostly poems have their say
I'm just a vessel that they use.

I even find that rhyming words
Can clue me into what comes next,
Though just before I'd hit a wall,
Creative pow'rs break loose unvexed...

This word, this knight on brawny steed,
With mighty arm unseals my fate
And clears a path to promised land -
A poem that I'd love to date!

Venus: Figment of My Dreams

Cold, placid, chiseled marble striding a hollowed cone
My fingers, as bristling brush, swab finished surface
Lifeless mold with a bright, animated plaster glows
O'er seamless lines, into silted grooves felt tips roll
A mysterious script unscrolls, tingling fingers to prime
My tracing digits her supple, graceful texture unseals
Sketching, my throbbing pulse her graded essence peels
The features of her, soft, delicate face unfold
Through her engraved eyes, a sentient strain flows
Taut ears sift wind--warm vibrating touches on cold cheeks
Tightly-coiffed locks, as tentacles, around my tendrils wrap
Just as my hands the features of her bass relief grasp
The visceral sculpture from my slumbering mind seeps
Once more, a hollow, still life vision clouds my dreams
Only the dry, stale plaster to my jaded eyes streams

Beyond the Veil of Spiritual Eyes

Beyond the Veil
Of Spiritual Eyes

The eye of the spirit pulls back the veil
Revealing a trove of unseen trails
Alabaster sands embrace rose colored water
Golden fingers dote over its earthly daughter

Elements are alive with healing in their wake
Swells, breaking curls release life into the lake
As the foliage rustles from the wind in their sails
All is alive from the living waters, all else pales

We are but a tiny rosebud struggling to birth
Into a garden inhabiting an ever growing earth
One drop from the water unseals the eyes
Lifting life’s veil removing its clever disguise

Neo's Zero

A hero is welcome too
the boy said, there is no spoon
”...then where are we?...”
Divot of sound in query
Chambers carry the many
Wired alive to memories
Sleeping inside the wary…
Do we care if the steaks tasty?
Just making arguments…

Do you bracket sacraments
Create Trinities of attachments
Are you a lively virtual fantasy
Worth plugging into my reality?
Nero’s Zero was really Her O…
Neo knew and Morpheus too

Basic Operations will apply…
Modification of the human eye
But wait… is this real?
Cords release and lines reveal
Fluid drains and a sound unseals
Memory wanes in silent remains
Liquid light becomes my vein
Splashing colors into crystal lines
Whipping winds of a merging time
Immersion in a ;playful rhyme…

”... don’t worry about the vase…”

Seraph…
“I protect that which matters most.”
I'm hear, so that you don't break it...

Trust

Transforms the heart to a bigger size,
Raises the stakes in a relationship,
Unseals a new world for someone shunned,
Spurs confidence in the integrity of another, and
Takes effort for someone hurt in the past.
