Unashamed Poems

Unashamed

With a glory that is so great,
My proclamation cannot wait,
For we are the ones He chose,
Bearing all sin in a crucifix pose,
After, only to rise again,
Giving us the gracious win,
So why not stand and shout,
Teach what the good message is about,
They'll never make me feel the shame,
That's just part of the devil's game,
His goal is our Father's separation,
Because we are His greatest creation,
More reason to tell all you know,
Making his discpleship grow.

Naked Unashamed

Standing here, here am I,
Can no longer feel comfort, can no longer cry.

This has all been too much for me,
No one to no longer turn to Oh God, but thee.

I stand here wounded, naked, in pain,
But before you, Lord God, I am unashamed.

For I find only you choosing not to see,
my fault, sin, and shame; seeing only me.

Only you can make me whole and new,
Here am I Lord God, do what you must do.

Like a cloak, your love just covering me,
Your crimson blood, my robe, so lovingly.

I feel your embrace, despite all man's scorn,
that made me almost wish I had never been born.

How can there be shame when love is covering me?
No gazing at my condition, no shame before thee.

You pitied me when you could have turned me away,
You turned my shameful night into day.

What love, oh what mercy, my sins to pay,

No longer naked and unashamed.

Daylit Moon

The distant pings of a windchime
Dance around my head like fairies

My lungs fill with the warm breeze
But my eyes are distracted
By a white stamp against the blue sky

Everything I've learned as a child
Whispers that this is wrong
Why is it so beautiful?

I drink in the sight of it
Of her, of me?
Its very being changed by the summer

Showing its face while the sun shines on
In defiance of expectations,
Defiance of rules

Her blemished skin glaringly contrasts
The smooth blue of the sky

Unashamed

"I am here", it calls to me

My eyes sting as I whisper
"I am too"
My words carried off by the wind

Premium MemberShirley Claus and the Jet Pack Fiasco - An Unashamed Reissue For Christmas

Santa sacked Rudolph and all of his herd
In his new jet pack he flew like a bird
His suit got ignited
And he’s just been sighted
Roasted and naked... then, guess what occurred

He crash landed, coming down hard
His beard and his dangly bits charred
Giving children a gift
Gave his spirits a lift
But after all this he’ll be barred

A passerby gave him a sock
He wore it to save us from shock
But a fluffy manhood
As a look, wasn’t good
So somebody gave him a frock

The next day he called Rudolph early
The reindeer came back but were surly
Still wearing that dress
He failed to impress
And that’s why they now call him Shirley

Unashamed

Always and forever I stand unashamed.
The blood of a king runs through my veins.
I’ve been through too much to not believe,
The king of kings came and died for me.

So unashamed it’s inked on my arm,
With ink and a needle not coming off.
I live to represent the name of Christ,
I will always be unashamed for life.

Over the years I’ve fallen more in love,
With God’s nature and endless love.
I’m not afraid to shine my internal light,
Guiding others to Christ is the fight.

Romans 1:16 is more than a verse,
It’s a lifestyle that’s worth pursuing.
This is my heart and for me my truth,
Living it out is what I’m trying to do.

Unashamed

You're so close to my heart but so far away
Like the dreams that keep this heart beating, You give me the hope to face another day

Because I'd give anything in this world, I'd give it all just to know your touch
My soul is aching for yours and I feel like my heart needs yours so much

You're everything I could ever want, I've imagined you since I've imagined true love
You're fresh inside my mind, but I feel like it's not enough

Because I want you here right beside me, so that I know that you're here for good
A part of me, so completely, You make me feel so understood

And so unashamed to say that given the chance I'd fall so deeply and I live to know that you might too
I have absolutely no idea what you did, but my heart is on hold for you

For the day that I can look into your eyes, tell you I love you and live there forever
In your embrace, I know, without a doubt, You make my world better

Unashamed Self-Promotion

:-)

Greetings, good and kind fellow Soup-ers!

'Tis wonderful, I say,
to be a Soup-er, so if I may,

I humbly request you to lay down your pen dipped in fine ink,
and visit my blog which can be found at the following link:

http://afzalmoolla.wordpress.com/

Now if this blatant self-promoting of mine seems rude,
I ask for your generous forgiveness, dear fellow Soup-er,

And wish you a day, that is peaceful, kind, and just plain super!

So cheers from the scribbler for now,
and as I take leave, my fellow Soup-ers,
I, in courtesy, to you all, do bow!

:-)

Unashamed

Unashamed is what I am
Unafraid is what you make me
A better woman is what I want to be
and suddenly I want to learn
to care for a very good man.

Amazing.
Simply amazing.
Everytime I gaze at his perfection
I yearn for your imperfection.

Unable to think straight
Suddenly hating my whole wardrobe space
Hoping you love not just my person
but my body, hair and sarcasm.

Unashamed is what I am
Unafraid is what you make me
A better woman's what I want to be
and suddenly I want to learn
to care for a very good man.
