Premium Member The Flight was a SHOCKER !!!!

This poem maybe a limerick
but for safety with rhyme I will stick

There was a young man
his name was James Crocker

He owned a dog
the breed was a cocker

They decided to go for a ride in a plane
the type, it was known as a twin engined Fokker

The turbulence wild
the flight was a shocker

They arrived back home
at six on the knocker

turmoil is their norm

Stolen good-bye

The silence, filled with whispers of turbulence
Crashed against the tide of an ephemeral moment
Perhaps fate has a strange way of entwining chaos
And we're meant to tie its loose ends with muddy hands

The affinity to tangle even the simplest ties
Is perhaps what's most befuddling
Yet I stand here
Pondering on this connection-
With our fitted glances and stolen good-byes

Could it have been any different?

Premium Member Deprived Of Your Love

Life doesn’t feel the same, My Darling,
Deprived of your passionate love,
Each and every day aimlessly drags on,
Each and every day feels dreary and treacherous!

Days were joyfully enchanting, nights were supremely blissful,
Never realized parting was so acutely hard!
But came a time there was turbulence in
The relationship, a dark cloud covered our horizon!

My heart sank, tears uncontrollably filled my eyes,
But decision, right for both of us, needed to be taken,
although my heart shattered like a broken-winged bird's,
I stood still - not letting grief drown me miserably!

Deprived of your love - is that fully true!
Pure Love is a gift we rarely receive in a lifetime,
We still love each other…I believe, Love does not end,
Cruel fate decides the eventual direction of our path!

Premium Member runaway turbulence

suddenly my world got dark
and spun out of control
thrust in the eye of the storm
all i could see was you
and how i would find
my way back to your arms

Life's Turbulence

Darkness,
Wild wind's fierce cry,
Rain lashes, thunder booms,
Nature's raw, ferocious power,
Tempest.

We cannot calm the turbulence in the open sky.
We must bear with its disharmony as it passes us by ~Quote by poet

Tempestuous moods erupt within, a tumultuous severe agitation
Brings forth undulating vibrations, exploding with a pounding pulsation
Retributions unholy, big blue-sky echoes with conflicting resound
When the balefully coarse maligning words mercilessly expound
Somedays gliding my way high through a stream of consciousness
Taken back by the waves soaring low to a destiny that seems endless
My soul, wrenched and wretched, lets loose from my clutching mind
Over the ocean, tempest-tossed above knotty seas less than kind
Excuse if you will my slashing unabiding, dismissive demeanor
Never shall I find where tides gently flow, and grass that is greener
Clashing and clawing through dark gathering clouds are my fate
Exit you my friend from my world and my presence before it’s too late

turbulence persists
       wave after wave every day
          somewhere life sails on

Turbulence

A wild night tucked-up
riding a storm in my bed.

Late digested cheese and crackers
are crumbs in my head
that now tumble like rocks
in a landslide.

Spumy sprays of dawn
crash upon my toss and turn,
pillows billowing on the floor
a poignant jetsam
stark signs of turbulent times.

The dog needs to go out
to do his thing.
Standing at the decking
swaying wearily I sense a roaring,
a sea-sickness
rolling over bare cold toes.
And me only 400 miles from the sea!

I need a handrail for my mind
or a strong cup of tea -
maybe some dry crackers.

Silhouetting bolts of lightning,
So frightening, yet so amazing.

Turbulence

Piercing
           ... my fingers
      With the blades
I have drawn
      In a mind turbulent
               & not at rest…

Turbulence

And I became a storm
Lightning in my veins
Crashing waves ,craving destruction in the pit of my stomach

Where Turbulence Meets Patience

WHERE TURBULENCE MEETS PATIENCE

Sometimes life reaches at that juncture
Where annoying things start to pour over
But you want to be at your comfy space
Feels that nobody should touch that phase.

Want to be at peace with yourself
Where calmness just dwells in
Where serenity just envelops you
Where patience is your forte.

Few irritants trouble you to the core
Disturb your coat of happiness
Emerge stronger and sprinkle love to all
As you are an essence of greatness.

And immerse yourself in a mystical trance
Where composure prevails over everything
Where playful innocence takes the charge
And dispassion towards worldly things.

Hey, life is beautiful to live blissfully
Take a pause and breathe fully
Just introspect and inhale composure
Life is here to rock and live in.

and then the wind

took a deep breath

and exhaled gently

cradled the salt on the earth

and the skin of her mind

touched and went as she could not

hold on to the soft caress

but the motion tussled her hair

and for that memory

she was grateful

a silent tear

quiet droplet of thirst

drawn out by a breeze of suspense

from her face

made her smile

the smirk assured her

that a tender

kiss of life

would save her from

stagnation and

while her existence

seemed motionless

nothing would ever

be the same and

she was ready to

embrace any storm

Premium Member Starry Starry Night

life forces in night skies
winds that howl in blue whimsy

gods blowing midnight stars about
stirring brews of celestial harmony

unrehearsed they swirl and whirl
churning turbulence in a vignette

perform their euphony of a ballet
volatile they cavort and pirouette

tossing around their glitter
spinning in a dance
wild commotion
in my mind
of curious
furious
fever
