Could have seduced you in plain sight,
but I don’t like to kiss and tell;
Stay down-low if it’s substantial;
There’s a cloak around every night,
we can cozy up it’s alright;
Magnetic’s not intentional,
could have seduced;
If you stick around I just might
do something nonconventional;
Admit it I’m sensational,
if your behavior wasn’t trite?
Could have seduced..

Premium MemberIt Is Not That Trite

Sand gets grayer, melting sun
Merges into setting phase
Waves slow down their run
To the quieter pace
Gentler blows the ocean breeze
Cirrus clouds decay
Shines a metaphor of peace
In the air today
Looks like postcard type of view
But it’s not that trite
On the premise of the few
Who can breathe the light.

Trite Reprising Indignation

I don't read your literature
I don't like standing in your lines
I abhorre your hypocrisy bukkake'd in a den of flies
You want originality?! I'll show you where that is
It's deep inside where you can't hide you just deny that it exists
I can't explain it it's just a thing you have not giving you a hint
I really don't care it's hilarious to me that you think my words are s h I t
Maybe it's the alcohol or drugs I took you think that made me rot
I know what it really is and it took some time but I have to keep my secret
The honest truth from me to you is I appreciate the candor.
Even though it was a hurtful statement you did it just to bait me
It worked at first and I did bite a bitter taste of cold rejection.
And now I feast on shallow thoughts of displacement and erasing....

A Trite Nihilistic Occasion - Part Two

endowing superlative creature comforts
reduce wretched survivors scant band of bare naked ladies
beastie boys, foo fighters espying counting crows
ready to buzzfeed toe kin *****sapiens
bereft, expunged, faux invincibility kickstarting
learning basic survival skills
forced to rescind twenty first century trappings
shifting paradigm sans primacy
pitting dishabille helpless imps against killers
who do not shrink from ethically principled

but give full reign to selfish callous deleterious foibles,
gruesome harmful indiscretions
sprouting with mushroom rhizome rapidity
ousting the omnipresently
(well nigh since time immemorial
virtues cultivated, futilely integrated, lending oomph
residentially, scientifically tendering ubiquitous DNA
foisting gabled, heralded, instilled,

justified kneaded love thy neighbor motto
lyft ting in one fell swoop delicately
embroidered, finely graven, heavenly ideals
no more patent leather shoes reflecting up
nor doodling Yankee staking claim to fame via feathered cap made of macaroni
thus such jingoistic, holistic, fabric ripped retroactively
ramping atavistic simian base,
thus leveling the playing field.

Trite
My thoughts,my cares , my perspective.
Only you ,whatever
That reminds me.
You don't see me
But

Premium MemberA Trite and Whimsical Rhyme

Will you whisk me
far away
from the only
life I've known?

Can we step
into the froth
and set sail
to a distant home?

Will we travel
light as gypsies
dancing jigs
to exotic tunes?

Can you teach
me foreign tongues
as the dawn breaks
into noon?

Will you love me
so completely
no other girl could
turn your head?

Can you promise
me fidelity
upon our
marriage bed?

Will you be my knight
and champion
and guard my heart
so true?

Can you love me
to eternity
if I say yes
to you?

Counter Trite

Break a mold some where
Do not sell your self shorter

How Trite We Can Be

Blame me,
But I had no part in this,
You believe what you want,
Toxic and acidic,
Would you be so kind as to pull me apart?

Take me down to that place,
Where it is all too easy to take my defenses away.
My eyes they fade to grey,
This is no beautiful convention,
But a despicable race.

Show me something old,
Like photographs when the sidewalks would not trap,
The springs would not snap,
The headboard would not crack.
And I am wallowing in vain here.

Underpass,
Sour sublime,
Fawning over an excusable sunrise,
Better late than never,
How trite we can be.

Save those sweet lips for the morning,
The clarity brings me to tears,
This was the song,
That fueled the warning,
We only have seconds left.

Hold onto that last breath.

Hardly Trite For Being Cliché

Stuck in my head,
All of those tears I've shed,
So many times I've bled,
Now you're here in their stead.
Missing your hazel eyes,
As soft as the skies,
I'll think of you tonight;
You're all thats on my mind.
A love like ecstasy;
Who knew It'd set us free?
Others are so soon to disavow,
But just look who's laughing now.
Now I implore you
To ignore the disarray
Of all things fake surrounding us
Because we're whats real today.
