I think of just how beautiful you are.
Your soul shines forth as if it were a star.
Inside and out, you are so very good.
I’d love to paint you if I only could.
But I don’t think that I could ever find
a hue to match the passion of your mind -
a brilliant red like cardinals in flight
or like the setting sun of summer’s night.
Nor could I paint the blue that you display
in tranquilness with which you face each day.
Your sunny ways of yellow’s many hues -
how could I find the one that I might use?
So many colors shine forth from your soul.
Not one of them could ever show you whole.
The soul of you, so beautiful to me -
I know that it will gleam eternally.
No, I could never paint your lovely glow,
which in my life with you I’ve come to know.
What color could I choose for love so true?
If only I could paint the soul of you.

Just close your eyes and be at rest.
Think not of things to do
or times that you were not your best.
Relax and you will find
awareness in your mind.
That is your prize!
Just close your eyes.
Give it a try; drift into peace.
Think not of gloom and doom.
Those kinds of thoughts you must release.
Let tranquilness find room.
Better you will feel,
when you’re being real.
That is the ideal.
Kiss frets goodbye.
Give it a try.

Gentle gratitude flavors life with heartfelt happiness ~ Quote by the Poet
The farm was thriving with cows, horses and chickens
Filling hearts with rewarding traditions
Whispers of visions sent on winds
Resonating stillness
Gentle comforts from our adoring Creator
Blessing our spirits with hope, faith and love
Soothing, intimate joy sent from the Lord above
Pleasure sent down by One who is greater
Providing dreams for tranquilness
Powerful faith reminds
Working with our hands in happiest conditions
Nurturing peace in the heart who quickens
Bringing out compassion that family thickens
Breathing gracious hues of glad ambitions
Inspiring passions of all kinds
Raising cures for illness
Pain that is healed by the greatest mediator
Who frees hearts with love that fits like a glove

“Shine until tomorrow. Let it be.” John Lennon and Paul McCartney
Kindness is what we need today.
Patience, love, and forgiveness too.
If people do not think your way,
try hard to see their point of view.
Be gentle as a summer breeze.
Be not a tempest bellowing.
Be the sea when after unease,
its tranquilness shines – mellowing.
Be not a tree stubborn to grow,
withholding the fruit it could bear.
Willow-like bend; let your hate go,
and behold your heaven’s first stair.
Take that first stair to heaven. See
more stairs that appear one by one.
To quote two’s wise words: “Let it be.”
Shine your light, and let peace be won.

My Mate and I
(in this case, the “I” is Santa Clause standing by his mate, the reindeer)
My mate and I – beneath a Christmas sky
Looking ever upward; I have to sigh
to see what is the heaven’s brightest star.
So close that star appears, and yet so far.
Looking ever upward, I have to sigh.
Why can’t the world know peace? I wonder why!
So close that star appears and yet so far.
Tranquilness envelops this place we are.
Why can’t the world know peace? I wonder why -
to see what is the heaven’s brightest star!
Tranquilness envelops this place we are.
My mate and I – beneath a Christmas sky.

You were,
The unshowy smile on my face
The melodious crack in my voice
The silent scream in my heart
The tears I enjoyed shedding
You were,
The voice I heard in my tranquilness
The thought that filled my mind
The nightmare I always yearned to have.
The love a ever hoped for,
Was right here in my face, yet I never felt it
Now you're gone, and I've grown to know,
"You only know your lover when you let her go"

Lying where songbirds have a treetop view
of clear blue water near a rocky trail,
Secret Lake is not so hard to get to
nor very secret, for folks know it well!
Where colorful fish are swimming, this lake
is popular in summer, and such cool
refreshment is its water that people make
the hike in droves to this gigantic pool.
Nearby are wild flowers, bright and yellow,
and other scenic views you’ll see around.
It’s a place to picnic and feel mellow.
Sounds of nature and tranquilness abound.
Waiting for some bread crumbs, and on the loose,
are ducks, but if you are adventurous,
walk all around the lake. Perhaps a moose
you’ll spot! Your time there will be marvelous!

I tried to paint a picture, Dear, of you,
But there was no right color that would do.
There is no blue that ever could display
The tranquilness with which you face each day.
I think no shade of red I’ll ever find
To match the utter passion of your mind.
Among sweet sunny yellow’s many hues,
I cannot find a one that I might use.
No color in this world can paint you whole.
And certainly I could not paint your soul.
The soul of you, so beautiful to me,
I know that it will shine eternally.
From inside out, my darling, how you glow.
Such happiness I’d never thought to know.
But never could I paint that brilliant light.
Nor can I paint your beauty in my sight.
If I could be Van Gogh, I think I might
Create a picture of a starry night.
And I would put inside it me and you
Enraptured ever in that sky’s dark blue.

TRANQUILITY
Tranquilness
Peaceful, serene
Calming, quieting, relaxing
Mountains, parks, oceans, lakes
Breathtaking, mystifying, refreshing
Cool, immense
Profundity.

Above a cloud, in soundless, still tumescence,
a goddess rests; below her is the sea.
A strip of it is rippling luminescence,
a path of light in night’s serenity.
A solitary boat now passes through
the lane of radiance. One man regards
the sky and ocean, both a cobalt blue,
and ponders inspiration of the bards.
For what could man want more than such as this -
-the tranquilness of dark in Luna’s glow!
At times he longs to taste a woman’s kiss
though he embraced this life so long ago. . .
His gaze is fixed on her who shines above.
He chose the sea. . . and moon became his love.
