Toxins Poems | Examples

Premium MemberTwo legged Toxins

When they become a toxin in your mind
when they steal, lie and threaten your life
even if their blood it's time to cut ALL ties.
Your heart was not meant to be used as a spittoon
your mind was not meant to be used as a trampoline
for their a flimsy-half assed sobriety.
Walk away, cut them loose before they spit and cut on you.
Your life is a precious gem to be treated with respect
Two-legged toxins dullen luster and fang the pulse from the neck.

flushing toxins out
excretory system works
thank God*, I'm relieved

*1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Toxins

I once compared myself to black mold;
the toxic kind that spreads
Contaminating surfaces, only feelings of regret
What used to be a room full of people, now has no one left
Wondering if I’ve caused this, was it something that I said?
Questions go unanswered, that’s when it starts to spread
Like a ball of yarn unraveling;
from a single thread
I’m not sure how to stop it, I’d rather just forget
And let the toxins take me until disease has set
Spores will start to germinate, maybe mushrooms next
Consuming every part of me, only black mold was left

Premium MemberSea Anemone Toxins

Sea anemone’s tentacles toxins kill
But the clownfish has a special skill.
Poison immune
Will return soon
Bringing food to sea anemone, regular drill.

Toxins and Curls For Contest Fragile

The universe is an enormous place
Where we can measure distance in light years
But fragility lives within that space
And is the cause of many human fears

Oceans we sail and the air that we taste
Are more fragile than the strands of spun glass
Streams and rivers run foul with toxic waste
As they threaten to destroy us en masse

But those fragilities are naught, my friend
When compared with my teenaged daughter's heart
It is either broken or on the mend
As some young Romeo tears it apart

The foul teeming seas with their toxic blobs -
The carbon emissions filling our air
Pale when compared to the soft, stifled sobs
From that fragile girl with the golden hair

Emotional Toxins

injection of
emotional toxins
poisoning the heart

causing the world to

Toxins

Toxins in your body

Toxins on your skin

We put all these things into our bodies

in an aim to be beautiful and thin

Some are very potent, and very strong

others are illegal and very very wrong

all these things can harm your body, they don't do you any good.

just be happy with who you are and treat yourself to a chocolate pud!!

Toxins Waste You Their Crimes

The blessed boys of Ireland, proclaiming another Soulful note; their favourite topic
Love, and a child upon an April morn, where a shot rang out; twas time's curtain torn
Resurrecting dreams thought lost while babies bled; heart's repressed by chains they wore
Ancient doctrine, from his Potter's fields ?

                                                                         ...."In Progress." *

Poetic Toxins

I write what I know, and know what I write.
I travel through time, every rhyme with might.
Ruminating the past; its wrongs and its rights.
Any time of the day, and any darkness of night.

I pen history and its future, as small as it seems,
Inking a mission, my pen shadows my dreams.
I engrave bits of pain, through every extreme.
Inscribing a passion, my script and its regime.

My pen is much mightier, than an army indeed,
it slashes its victims with a whimsical need.
It destroys its targets, planting a poetic seed.
It preys on cruelty, and the abusive it feeds.

Feeding a toxic dose, of words and rhymes,
serving a deadly concoction of ink in time.
For the tongue is more lethal in words of rhyme,
the triumphant work of a poet; yours and mine.

Toxins

The toxins leak-
Into my lungs, scathing them,
Painfully I exhale,
It doesn’t even cross my mind.
