Crushed

Petals falling
from unseeded bud
opened by a midnight sun
sparkling it to love
then vanishing
to return on its course
in candle lights
stolen star to star
unmindful
of ice pellets
tearing at the calyx
teardrops
frozen in the throat
lacerating heart
throbbing to harden
like winter in silence.
February weeps
meet a new face
lights start dancing
in the eyes
glances caressing
two hearts
whispering to each other
sweetness
crushed grape
turns to wine
tinting two goblets
crimson!
Eternal seed
buds new life
flame of God's
everlasting light
running through veins
of two hearts
saying to each other: Yes
I love you

Autumn Equinox

Autumn Equinox has fallen out of Summer;
Cooling heat horizontal breeze ever so lovely, autumn;
Embrace me season harvest;
Kiss me soul gentle caresses;
All that I see, spring/summer green;
Summer has fallen tinting orange, yellow,  brown foliage Scene;

Welcome embrace:
Autumn Equinox has graced;

To Me, Today

what is a hope
if not the most desperately fervent
wish of a man— a dream so deeply
staining the edges of reality

a hope lies dormant in my belly
sleeping like a dragon curled
on the hoard of my desire
breath like smoke wafting

past my eyes and up my spine
tinting my retinas; seeping into my brain
it fires my neutrons and my body says,
why not try again

the days spent in despair— the people
who jeer— the coffee stains and
splashed puddles and fumbled papers—
i hope to hate them a little less tomorrow

in this suffocating swirling world
my hope-stained eyes see
a new dawn a new day
a light at the end of my tunnel

even cold wind warms my face;
around me bustles with life,
sun seeping through the cracks
waking up my slumbering hope

today will be different. today will be good
today, a day i’m living for the first time
i have a hope, wide awake in my core
it tells me, it will all be okay

Oceanfront

Sea stalked by moon tonight in site
On waters that dilate gone by—
Its apparition's bed on shore,
That moon lays on like ruby's lure—
The knees clamber from salty might.

The tinting in her frosty side
Where she was swept once by the tide;
The backwhip of the swell still roars—
                       Sea stalked by moon.

As the mood on the beach is spry,
Combing while I'm alone with I,
Ill hearted at the gills; spoiled for
The sand dollar spends its life chore,
All washed out suddenly before...
                      Sea stalked by moon.

While the milk cow hastens
Toward a worn barn,
Gray as the edges of melancholy,
Erasing the spring, breaking through Summer
Like Sunday, wearing her best suit
Rustling on the wings of Saturday’s robins,
Starving for Monday, while her words
Still the grief that comes from knowing
The week behind her will not come
Again, peppering the wind
With grace and love,
Intense as the passion, smiling
As milk flows, quietly blessing,
Trembling with songs,
Who reach through the shadows,
Singing melodies with soft eyes,
Brown like the trees,
Swaying softly, silencing every tear
Who dreams of a lasting peace,
Rich as milk who fills up the bucket,
Then the cup, tinting her coffee,
Soft blonde, like a woman whose heart
Melts with prayers spoken,
While the gentle heart sighs,
At a breathless moment when light,
Falls heavy against muddied silhouettes,
Against timbers, foundations
Who decide the cow can confide to the night,
Where peace hides, amid star strewn skies,
On flowing veils of the moon’s rising.

Premium MemberDrawn In Crayon

Brisk breezes tickle the leaves on the trees;
while a gnarly old oak tree creaks and heaves.

Silhouettes merge as daylight disappears;
dewdrops glistening like crystalline tears.

A mix of scarlet, saffron, and chiffon;
colors a setting sun drawn in crayon.

Tangerine clouds as thick as whipping cream;
float in the sky like a fantasy dream.

A scarlet sun bleeds, tinting the sky pink,
as shadows morph into pools of black ink.

Indigo skies form an ebony sea;
where twinkling stars shine like gold filigree.

And a full moon rises at Dusk's bequeath;
till Luna beams down on the world beneath.

The bee is a-buzzing~
a sweeter time of year –
for the hive is a-growing,
has to be dearly fed, as
the queen was off a-queening
had taken fond drones
to her sultry bed –

flowers, all-efficient,
the earth's blushing, reddening
ripening fertile ways –

Spring giving all colorful
blaze, warmly enticing
brightly dutifully tinting
adding uplifting expression
to
earth's
cold
drab
definitely
needing
inspiring
far too
dispassionate
winter
phase.

Autumn is ready to party
It is blowing new wind this way
It breathes cooler air into night
Tinting colors into green leaves

It's preparing a whirling dance
Autumn is ready to party
Apples, pumpkins, warm pies to eat
A celebration of the seasons

It started as bare trees then buds,
Flourishing in sunshine and heat
Autumn is ready to party
A colorful confetti feat

Holding hands on walks, warm sweaters
All joining together, in fun
Smiles are sparkling, in the sun
Autumn is ready to party

Premium MemberA Darkest Night Too Brightens In Dawn

When I ruminate in trepidations forlorn,
Darkness traversed in search of dawn,
Vying fertile shores, oceans I crossed,
Nightmares that my dreams doled out;
Looking back now, how I fondly recall--
In those hardships success was born.

As I watch frigid woes glinting on snow,
Winters that melt and in rivers flow,
Parched-leaves tinting autumn’s glow,
I wonder how seasons in throes know;
Behind clouds of despair rises arc of hope.

When I spend today in tempests bygone
Brooding in defeat of conquests lost,
Yesterdays that were callously tossed;
I once again follow footsteps of the past
Imprisoning my triumphs of tomorrow
Arresting winsome ambitions of now.

Learning the lessons from where I was
I reassure anxieties perturbing my life:
Travails of turbulence won’t last long,
For a darkest night too brightens in dawn,
A rainbow forms after a storm is gone.

So, I clasp the hand of a leisurely walk
Unfettered by constant tick of time clock,
Passionately answering call of my heart
Bequeathing moments that forever last.

Premium MemberSanguinity

Mystique mist shrouds
the penultimate pathway
to the time future obscure;
in twilight hour transient
sunset swansong resonates;
forlorn life spent,
silhouetted still
against the sunk skyline somber.

Twirling turmoil threads
weave morbid motif
of passion cloud,
surging with sensuous storm
to the dark horizon,
ornate once with halcyon hues,
tinting chameleon chimera
the yearning canvas ablaze;
from its burnt relic
ashes fly away.

Splintered hope shards,
adrift on despondent drift
of melted fervor,
flow in tear stream;
the remnant rays of resurgence
survive still in
sparkling sunrays,
not pallid yet;
designs the last lattice latent
of tapestry of dream,
drapes the sanguinity of listless life.

The World I See

There sometimes a rose tinting I see daily
How the tinting affect my mood each day
Everything in it never perfect though I try

Would I dream of the perfect world to live
Only problem is I wouldn't be any happier
Realising this I must accept imperfections
Life must be lived to best of our abilities
Did this change my view of rose tintism

Inside us all is the ability fulfil our dreams

Seeing a rainbow it can be awe inspiring
Even it doesn't last must give way to change
Even I must put away my tinted glasses

Envy's Seed

We came at birth, all equal in God’s eye
Yet, winds blew aloft, Envy’s cursed seed.
Hatred warms the bed where Evil will lie.

The fertile soil beguiles, rooting on the sly.
Black veils of mistrust tinting each good deed!
We came at birth, all equal in God’s eye.

Despair rides the rails without alibi
Gaining companions, divided by greed.
Hatred warms the bed where Evil will lie.

Privilege and fame, an Icarus sky
Blinds our soul, it blocks the truth before us;
We came at birth, all equal in God’s eye.

Life’s reward still illusive, cry or try.
Bind us to our conscience with chains we plead.
Hatred warms the bed where Evil will lie.

If submit we will, our death awaits neigh.
We will to Envy’s sour fruit concede.
We came at birth, all equal in God’s eye.
Hatred warms the bed where Evil will lie.

“Clouds are the sky’s imagination.”
                                                  - Terri Guillemets

“Clouds, they make a painting out of the sky.”
                                                  -Marty Rubin

Azure beckons clouds dynamic,
Ephemeral formations gliding,
Heavenly images jumbling
kaleidoscopically,
Lighting mysterious
nimbus operations,
Presenting q u e e r resemblances,
Sometimes tinting
underlying visuals,
Woolly xebecs,
Yielding zest.

In the mist shrouding mystically
the journey’s penultimate mile
at the fringe of the fading pasture
of the un-blossomed future obscure
in the twilight hour transient
the sunset swansong resonates
for the forlorn life silently spent
and becoming silhouetted still
against the shrinking skyline of lost luster
seeing the last sparkle of the dying day.

The twirling threads of turmoil
entwined in seamless motif
with the passing clouds of passion
surging through the sensuous storm
to the unwary horizon dark
halcyon once with splendorous hues
tinting the chameleon transformation
on the convoluted yearning canvas ablaze
as from its burning rememrance remnant
the abandoned ashes fly away.

The shards of the splintered hope
in the swirling squall of relentless agony
afloat on the melancholic waves
of melted fervor flowing in the stream of tears
the remaining rays of sanguinity
survive still in the final flashes
of the sinking sun not yet morbid
fabricating the last lattice latent
of the tapestry of dream
swathing the panorama of the promising life.

Premium MemberLetter To My Future Self

In life’s dynamic landscape of uncertain undulations,
on the paved pathway across the transient topography,
meandering to the realm of nebulous future obscure,
I follow the faint footprints of fate as I write this to you.

Many surging streams I swim in the storm of distress,
with hopes held close to the heart lest they all drown.
I chase beguiled butterfly desires in the valley of flowers,
on rainbow hue I fly my dreams with you I want to share.

Riding the cadence of rustling leaves in autumn forest,
sunburst dawn’s aura enwraps me with gilded rapture.
In mind’s meadow the dewdrops of love sparkle as pearls,
you’ll see at the end of my journey when I embrace you.

I now find the spent sun set at the golden edge of twilight,
tinting tentative trail to you covered with dust of obscurity.
I hear the wind of time whisper to begin the search for you,
as with the senile rhythm of footsteps I walk the last mile.
