Spring

The bee is a-buzzing~ a sweeter time of year – for the hive is a-growing, has to be dearly fed, as the queen was off a-queening had taken fond drones to her sultry bed – flowers, all-efficient, the earth's blushing, reddening ripening fertile ways – Spring giving all colorful blaze, warmly enticing brightly dutifully tinting adding uplifting expression to earth's cold drab definitely needing inspiring far too dispassionate winter phase.

Sort of all one season here in Arizona: hot, hotter, sizzling, and~ you got to be kidding man! But the desert does have its season of bloom...and it is spectacular. Thank you, my friend. Blessings.

During this season when I suffer from Seasonal Disaffective Disorder, I found your poem to be a fresh ray of Spring. It lifted me up from this "dispassionate winter phase." Thanks for sharing, Joe.

You are so right about that, Joe. I have a lot more arthritis problems this time of the year which is why I try to head south as often as I can. Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas season.

HI Milton; after the first pretty snow, it gets old rather quickly, and arthritis pain is far more pronounced. Blessings my friend.

Hi Wendy; so pleased you enjoyed this one, pleasantly less serious than many of mine. Blessings.
