Tinting Hair Brown
Tinting Hair Brown
What if from you I were to run away
Came back and see you another day
Would we still have looked the same
After seeking fortune and also fame
Tint old hair brown which was gray.

In the Yellowing of Time
The yellowing
of winter
flows out
into the yellowing
of spring;
kissing chosen roses
with its hued sunshine.
Seasons,
like chameleons,
change;
and paper yellows
as teasing tinting time
mellows itself.
But
truth’s color
knows no shade;
remaining
the same
in all seasons
favoring
neither night nor
day.
And
is unchanged
by the yellowing
of time....

Winter Blues
White snow progressively tinting blue
Ice resembling Bricks to built an Igloo
Nippy and harsh and yet a holding glue
Tinting and chilling to its distinct hue
Eternal chill forming deep packed Ice
Resembling the Blue Tinted Alps
Blinding with ceaseless fervor
Leaving the excursionist in a quake
Unclenching its Adamant Terror
Eagle with its forceful glare
Stiff,snowy stubborn meringue...

A Beautiful Winter Day
A beautiful winter day
On a chilly morning
as the sun peeks over
a distant horizon
tinting hazy skies
in faded cantaloupe
and butter cream swirls,
a tree line silhouette
stands guard, ready for
the start of another
beautiful winter day,
as I sit sipping
a hot cup of coffee
waiting for you to wake,
so that I may start mine
Good morning Soupers...

Starting My Day
Starting my day
~O~
On a misty morning
as the sun peeks over
a distant horizon
tinting hazy skies
in faded cantaloupe
and butter cream swirls,
a tree line silhouette
stands guard, ready for
the start of another
beautiful autumn day,
as I sit on the patio,
sipping a fresh cup of coffee
waiting for you to wake
so that I may start mine
Good morning Soupers...

Fading Light
Against the fading light comes night,
Charging past horizon true,
Tinting pink,
As sun falls through.
Such careless wind creates the sound
Of battered leaves
Upon old ground.
The scent of snow strikes a blow--
Releases thoughts
Of winter's cold
And all the fears
Dark memories hold.
Quick--gather fuel to light the way
Of those who run
On feet of clay,
And need your warmth
To wait for day....

Dusk to Dawn
Extinguishing day,
Sol's scarlet sphere sinks
o'er the horizon;
into a sea of
liquid ebony
at the edge of Earth.
Twilight darkens dusk,
gathering shadows
that merge with the night;
while trillions of stars
unveiling their light,
begin to twinkle.
Night absorbs color
till Dawn's light pierces
its ebony heart;
and it bleeds scarlet,
tinting misty clouds
cotton candy pink....

Touch-
Touch
Only this and the skin
Encasing my entire being
Touch
When I thought of the touch
Much I marveled the splendid concern
Touch
You warned me about the downturn
I crave the slack, standstill significance
Touch
Instead I uncovered the plight
There stood a crash rewrite
The touchy turbulence tinting such a rush

The Light of My Mornings
The light of my mornings
The light of my mornings
is not in the skies
On the horizon,
a wondrous sunrise
~
Vibrantly tinting
an apricot dawn
Colors reflecting
the dew on the lawn

Shimmering visions
to waken the trees
Wishing good day
to the birds and the bees

Eyes Sending Light
Sweat oozing down my cheek,
Determined to go farther.
Lacking the need of help,
Avoiding the pain about to develop.
Eyes sending light,
Tinting the room to be oh so bright.
Playing with my wonders,
For my heart still ponders,
On whether or not to sing,
Or whether or not to bring.
Gliding to the center,
For so only I can venture.
Ah yes,
Following my ways,
To exclude more days.
For their eyes sending light,
Making my heart fill with delight....

A Frayed Soul Tie
Synchronized spirits sewn together by silver star strings
Like tethered twin flame torches touching, tinting
Beautifully braided bands of boundless bliss
Sensually seducing sacred sunlight, shining
Delicately dancing around disguised desire
Waxing, waning, wanting, wondering, wandering, withdrawing
Lustful luminary lingering, longing, lavishing love
Fearing freedom from fervency
Soulmates sleeping separately, sadly stifled
Why?

Find Me Then
Find me then, when gilded ruby sky
Adorns mauve twilight on canvas pink
Pleasing ardor of magenta dreams
Tinting smiles in brushstrokes tangerine;
Find me then, when ocean's blue bosom
Scintillates waves' vermilion passions
As sun's orange glow folds in embrace
Caressing kiss of love --find me then.

Spring
The bee is a-buzzing~
a sweeter time of year –
for the hive is a-growing,
has to be dearly fed, as
the queen was off a-queening
had taken fond drones
to her sultry bed –
flowers, all-efficient,
the earth's blushing, reddening
ripening fertile ways –
Spring giving all colorful
blaze, warmly enticing
brightly dutifully tinting
adding uplifting expression
to
earth's
cold
drab
definitely
needing
inspiring
far too
dispassionate
winter
phase....

Softly
Just like dark slowly cloaking the land
love slips in softly unfolding like a bud.
Once in a heart it expands filling it full
re-awaking those long forgotten emotions.
Tinting all in glorious technic colours
casting a warm glow that courses
though the veins pulsing strongly
bringing vitality and sense of eagerness.
Touching all those who cross its path
spreading peace and contentment.
Bask in its light and give it full rein
and enjoy all that comes in its wake....

Beneath the Darkness
Layers upon layers
From bright red to black.
Are filling up the sky for me.
I look up,
See a canvas
With God's paintbrush
tinting the heavens,
The colors of a perfect sunset.
Now, that time has come to us.
Now all is dark.
Yet life is never quiet,
Peepers peep.
And crickets leap.
As they sing their Spring lullaby.
The lights may go out,
But as we sleep
The world is never truly empty.
Life is all around you,
Just look now darling
And you see,
It's never truly empty....

Ageing
Ageing.
Hearing going fast,
Teeth already gone.
Eyes are squinting,
Hair needs tinting.
Thoughts are straying,
What are they saying?
Back has a twinge,
Need a hip hinge.
Knees seem to click,
Time to get a stick.
Got to get a bit slimmer,
Before I need a zimmer.
Fingers keep locking,
Need an elastic stocking.
Toes get the cramp,
Undies get damp.
Forgot what comes next,
Must be why I get vexed.
Starting to nod my head,
Hot cocoa and bed.
G'nite.
