Premium Member thrilled to see the hatred go

She was thrilled to be in the nightgown commercial
When the rain fell, the photographer said let’s not give up
She had no idea what this would mean to her career
She danced, frolicked and pretended to love the rain
Feeling like a fake, a poser, wondering when it would be over
The photographer kept snapping photos.
She was getting miffed.
It was cold water.
Difficult to pretend now.
The photo session was a huge success.
It launched her career.
She became a mega star, and was in high demand.
Her salary went from five figures to six figures.
She stopped resenting the photographer.
Glad to let go of the hatred, since they were married.

Mary's Son

The crowd came out to meet Him
Jesus was thrilled to see them all
He addressed them with such dignity
And He loved, He loved them all
Mary's Son did preach the gospel
A mother's pride was understood
She sat there right next to Him
He faced the crowds like she new he would

Premium Member Expialidocious Love

Wonderful love dreams thrilled young Cali.
She sung of such with good friend, Sally.
Extraordinary and precocious,
her thoughts felt expialidocious.

Expialidocious were heart thumps.
Precocious fantasies raised goosebumps.
Sally thought her love, fragalistic.
Cali said, "joy's not fatalistic."

For Cali, hushed love was great enough.

Three things that thrilled my heart

I thought and thought. In all the world
Three things touched me, my heart captured:
Sugarcane derivates,
What poet’s pen creates,
And lithe limbs of a lass
That stir, in breeze as grass.

Translation |24.10.2024| sweet, poems, lissom lass

Poet’s note: Sanskrit has thousands of verses of wisdom called Subhashhitam. The poet here says, ‘I thought and thought and three things touched inner precincts of my heart: sweets made from sugarcane, penmanship of poets, and a lissom lass’ lithe figure’. The transliteration of the Sanskrit verse follows:

Sanchintya sanchintya jagat samastam,
trayah padaarthaa hridayam pravishhtaah |
Ikshho vikaaraah kritayah kaveenaam,
mugdha-anganaayaa anga tarangitaani ||

Premium Member The Thrilled Manger

Did anyone see millions of rainbows fill up the skies?
Did anyone see the heavens bloom and a child appear?
Flying, floating, and fluttering to a numb-filled surprise
Rested between Joseph and Mary, filled with divine cheer

The racks where they dwelt, as there's no place in the human hearts
Mystic music concerts were heard like thunder and earthquakes.
Cows, bulls, and sheep stood as though forgetting their breathing arts.
The Almighty's graces seemed to surround them like ice flakes.

Those who were sleeping were dreaming of the birth of a saviour.
Though they felt a thud, they did not feel the need to be awake.
And, hence, on that blessed night, they could not find God's favour.
The shepherds hurried to meet him, who came down for their sake.

Cows mooed and goats bleated the Gloria of the angels.
Eyes open, Jesus slept amidst changes that seemed changeless

Premium Member Bill's Thrilled Still

There once was a fellow named Bill
Who lived up on top of a hill
A low flying plane
Carved a groove in his brain
Apparently Bill is of two minds still

You guys are totally amazing
These friendships that I have found
Sends warm fuzzy feelings coursing through my veins
It's euphoria and it literally abounds

It can't be found anywhere else
On that you can bet your last buck
We're a most unique collection of loving individuals
Blessed to be showered with such luck

Must have done something very unique
To have earned this fabulous adventure
Whatever this thing was, it was sure worth the effort
You guys are smack dab in the centre

My life without this gathering of poets
I don't even want to contemplate
I'd walk around the streets kicking stones all alone
I ain't kidding, I'm telling you straight

You guys make an amazing difference
Getting up each morning's a great thrill
To see who's written those loving words to me
I am constantly thrilled by it still

Premium Member Not Thrilled To Wed

The photographer did not have to tell this bride and groom to not smile.
He had not photographed such a dour newlywed couple ever in his life.
The man looked totally miserable, as did his unhappy looking wife.
They both looked angry, upset, and totally uptight.
The photographer thought this might be a dismal wedding night.

Premium Member Thrilled With This Life

i am confident, excited, enthused
validation from every direction this world is good
the smell and shape of lavender lilacs uplift me
the snuggle of a happy cat in my lap gives me joy
the thrilled shriek laugh of an excited toddler makes my soul laugh

my soul is alive and happy
I am eager and glad to be alive
grateful to feel loved and respected, revered
joyful for azure day skies and diamond encrusted nights
my soul is thrilled, super-satisfied with this life

I'M Thrilled

I'm thrilled to hear that you got 3 month inside. You did bird. Do you know how happy I am? I want to shout from the highest steeple and jump with joy. You did 7+ years of crime: drug dealing, smoking weed, assault with a bb gun, smashing your mum's house up, nearly killing her and more.

That was the worst, shoving your mum's head into the sink. Concussion could of killed her. You dropped out of school so have no grades. Maybe if you kill someone, you can study inside?

I think your next crime is murder. But who? Yourself? Not saying my views. Tho 1 less chav will be here, a reign of terror over. You used to take your mum's cash and spend it on drugs. Then hit her when there's no heating.

You made the front room your bedroom, ruled her life with terror. Was told, 'If you lived in a different city, you would be in jail now." That took a while in coming but finally happened. I'm thrilled.
