singing, traveling, smiling

...."I may be happy, I may be sad ".....
....I may be good, I may be bad"......
...."But I'm so thrilled with the life I've had".....
Fuzzy black and yellow bumbebee
Found a pretty daisy at his knee
Said to his friends and family three
I am thrilled to find this gorgeous daisy
A starlet who once thrilled the cops
Developed some droopy jowl chops
A Facebook beauty
She's still a cutie
Thanks to software filters and crops
Once I thrilled to Homer’s Odyssey
to his Iliad equally
‘Til I hurt my sacroiliac
~ and traded literature for TV
It has been some time
Since we have been together
So I am thrilled that
We will be able to see
One another once again!

A mystic was thrilled with the notion
That she could create a love potion
She tried sixty-nine
And all were benign
But her pot got loads of devotion
She sent a pair of floral plaques,
to me, and pretty though they were,
I wasn't thrilled at all because
they were the ones I'd sent to her...
* a true story
See Some Goose Pimples
See some goose pimples
That are up and down each arm
I am thrilled to death.
How I sometimes feel writing
a poem of mine.

I take a dive from a precipice.
To escape my life as it is.
Deep water, deep gulp of air
on resurfacing, new life to share.
Thrilled now that I dare.

Optimistic American goldfinch
Perched on the end of the branch
Enjoying a bit of loving rain
Glad the skies finally gave him the bath he needed
Things are looking up
There once was a fellow named Bill
Who lived up on top of a hill
A low flying plane
Carved a groove in his brain
Apparently Bill is of two minds still
a cucumber plant
loves his master's young daughter
tendrils shiver thrilled
There once was a fellow named Bill
Who lived up on top of a hill
A low flying plane
Carved a groove in his brain
Apparently Bill is of two minds still
ghosts and spirits
ancestral entities
clamoring around new baby
delighted with her, all excited
thrilled to be invited
to a family christening
at the family church
I was thrilled to what the handsome gondolier wore
black and white striped shirt, straw hat,
red bow dripping off back of hat….
like Sophia Loren films from the sixties

Love of my life, I'll never forget you
Sunshine and joy you thrilled me anew
Never before felt
Such rapture, I melt
When I think of then so young so true
gorgeous swallowtail blue with your ebony tipped wings
showing your veins as you glide into the cone flowers
I am intrigued, excited, and thrilled
You are my call to spring
They knocked first
Then came in
Took their place
Sat and talked
Great myths shared
We got thrilled
Then they left
We don't know
Who are they

Love of my life, I'll never forget you
Sunshine and joy you thrilled me anew
Never before felt
Such rapture, I melt
When I think of back then so young so true
Love of my life, I'll never forget you
Sunshine and joy you thrilled me anew
Never before felt
Such rapture, I melt
When I think of back then so young so true
Love of my life, I'll never forget you
Sunshine and joy you thrilled me anew
Never before felt

When I think of back then so young so true
they stopped for a few seconds at her favorite place
A used bookstore like no other
the proprietor watched the gorgeous couple.
Thrilled that Madeline had found a handsome beau
its tuneful melody
once touched our souls
after the break-up
like a gong, it tolls
the notes that thrilled
now just tremble
like a frozen smile
our song dissembles
