Don’t be so busy looking for who walked away
to see who needs you in their life now.

Premium Member Thirty One and Going Strong

It's happy anniversary again
thirty one years seems not long
but so thankful for all your love
every echo within makes a great song

Thirty one and going strong
looking forward to many more
together as one sweet union
We shall see what's on store

This past years been hard
but soon be on better plain
as we look on to our Lord
His plans are never in vain

Thanks for our yesterday's
our tomorrow's are in His love
together many more to celebrate
my love constantly on your nameplate

( Today is Christine and my 31st wedding anniversary so this is written to celebrate that fact in dedicating this piece to my lovely wife for all her love and care. )

Premium Member Thirty One Million Five Hundred and Thirty Six Thousand

…ten, so close, but soon it will be over
…nine, it seems each moment’s moving slower
…eight, what a long, lonely, difficult year,
…seven, all the lost hugs and brushed away tears
…six, twelve months of the worst of the worst
…five, it seems each day was sorely cursed
…four, as if life ended in this single set of seasons
…three, without the civility of explanation or reasons
…two, I don’t know how many more seconds I can stand
…one, yet, I still have hope for the next
thirty one million five hundred and thirty six thousand…

Thirty One

Kissable lips and
Blue eyes keep me busy with
The leg in a cast

Premium Member Thirty-One All the Time

They have at least thirty-one flavors all the time.
Available are pistachio, rum raisin, and key lime.
Have you ever tried their strawberry or blueberry cheesecake?
In any single trip, how many flavors can you take?
Other than ice cream, they also have sangria or daiquiri ice.
Everything they have is cool, tasty, and nice.
This place offers variety in a plethora.
I can't believe that all you want is vanilla!

Page Thirty One

I'm so unfit for this, there's still so much in
me thats unfinished
I need to replinish catch me @ the brook
I dehyrated myself
With my lack of selflessness
So its evident what I'm developing
My battles with sin flesh & the devil got me weary
So I enslaved myself in the prism
Isolated myself from you sometimes
When you win you're really losing
And I lost most of me in the process
Solitary confinement with no lock pick
What I sinned and hurt God most with I cut it off
Count it as loss, my back against the wall
Standing tall to this giant I'm trying to slay
But like him I have no power...unless I learn
To be obedient and obey so in the end
Who really gets slain

Thirty One Million Light Years From Earth

Atop these scales of time we are no less then this, but a blinking of an eye
A comet passing beyound the night; until one day we do so find, our place
Inside the bright and Morning Star; transient became life's journey; awoke
Within velvet seats did we, whom could see; saying to love's Angels, oh yes
Could you and a twist of lime in mine please; taking hold of Wendy's hand...

Proverbs Thirty-One Quilt

What kind of fancy quilt
Are you stitching up today?
Are you sewing a quilt
In the Proverbs Thirty-one way?
With each quarter embroidered
By busy hands of love
Living to please your Saviour
Who is watching from above.
In one block of your quilt
Do you submit to your spouse?
And creatively in another
Are you cleaning up the house?
What about the children
Are they stitched within a square?
Do you stay home within your place
And give them all your care?
What about the family money
Are you thrifty with your dimes?
Have you designated a quilt piece
On how you spend your time?
A devotional time with God
Should be the center of your quilt.
For everyone of your squares
On Jesus Christ should be built.
Your virtuous woman tapestry
Should have a ruffle on display
Of all the many blessings
God dotes on you each day.

Thirty-One Empty Days

I sit here and waste my life
Because I have not found anyone to waste it with
I heard you were out there somewhere
But is what I hear just a myth?

You were almost in sight
But you then disappeared
Upon this night I am alone
This is what I have feared

Fear may show at night
But builds during the day
Each night I lay awake
And think about May

Primary Concerns With Eight Thirty One Thirteen

Standing in red shoes
The yellow dwarf was my muse
Lifts and pastes cause blues
