If the best things in life are free
Why does the world revolve around money?
Must I die in order to enjoy my fruits?
What lies ahead after the game of pursuit?
After I possess the gold, cars and home
What other wealth can I obtain unknown?
Can I buy a ticket into the pearly gates?
How can I obtain a way to avoid destiny or fate?
Must I pay friends in order for them to stand by me?
Without currency, will the love of my life still lay beside me?
At night, will this witch continue to ride me?
Will the spirit of greed forever chide me?
How long will the almighty dollar hide me?
Worldly riches will never make me whole
For, I am rich within my soul
Yet, my final home I have yet to see
My father possesses riches unknown
Throughout eternity I wallow besides poverty happily
But poverty will never swallow me
The Best things in Life are Free.
A feeling of the first kiss when butterflies enter your stomach.
Knowing a writer inspired a positive movement with her poetry.
Knowing that I am loved and other artists are enamored by my work.
The Best things in Life are Free.
When God shines his light upon you and faith is offered, and trust is built.
When Peace and enlightenment is granted.
The Best things in Life are Free.
Kindness Costs Nothing

I’ve Found It’s true,
“The best things in life are free”
Not free stuff, but a prayer, a smile, a hug,
or perhaps a kind word directed my way.
An offer of help when I’m facing difficulty,
whether needed/wanted or not.
For after all, the thought also counts,
and shows me that others care.
Start today with a smile,
and be kind to others.
Tom
There’s a magic to the moment when
you’re alone at night and a song drifts in,
playing soft and sweet
in the still of the midnight air.
Then whatever the day dealt fades away,
and you just let go of the things they say
as the music takes you in
through a lonely stare.
They say that the best things in life are free
and at times like this, yeah I must agree.
Makes me wish somehow
I could just stay in this space.
For life is nothing but ups and downs
so tonight, I’ll just enjoy the sound
for tomorrow…
I guess it’s back to the old rat race.
It's easy to get frazzled,
Just drained by difficulty'
But there's much more to experience,
The best things in life are free.
You'll find every day holds treasures,
More treasures than troubles, you'll see,
If you just take a moment to notice,
To take a deep breath, just breathe.
Just decide to be happy,
Whatever your circumstance;
For help is just 'round the corner,
You have but to ask, take a chance.
Most folks make their own problems,
By taking on more than they can do;
Then get mad because of all that's expected,
And thinking that they're being used.
Just learn to say 'No, I can't do it.'
It's okay, you can't do it all.
By taking on more than you can handle,
You're setting yourself up for a fall.
Just learn to know your own limits,
Whatever you can or can't do.
You'll be happier by setting your boundaries.
To thine own self be true.
What would you do if you were lucky enough to win the lottery
Would you donate some to an aid group that could get some people out of poverty
A trip to some exotic place surely would be in your plans
Would all the money go a long way to increasing your lifespan
Could you buy love perhaps, it would probably be artificial at best
Using your newfound wealth now may be a good time to invest
That would give you more time to think all your decisions through
A well-thought-out plan is what you need to do
As the old saying goes the best things in life are free
Love from family and friends and a warm sunny day are important to me
If I won the lottery would I refuse to claim it, I think not
I require the money to pay for the loan for all the lottery tickets I just bought
The best things in life are free
Love is free
Peace is free
Kindness is free
Happiness is free
Joy is free
Care is free
Togetherness is free
Expression is free
Opinion is free
Choice is free
The best things in life is free
The universe is free
Our planet is a free zone
Life is free
The air is free
To live freely is to live fullfiled
To fight is free
Our world is free
Our reality should be free
Our education should be free
Our mentorship should be free
Our knowledge should be free
Above all our freedom
Should be free cos
The best things in life are free
Lord, teach me to evaluate before I vacate
Teach me to treasure challenges in route to my destiny
Teach me to value debate in trying to educate
Teach me to appreciate my friends and love my enemy
Before I escape, teach me to be still and meditate
Let not my sleep be a runaway ticket from reality
Teach me to appreciate both roses and thorns in my pathway
I am amazed when look up into your vast domain and galaxy
Open my eyes, my ears, my heart, and my mind to you each day
Whatever comes or goes, teach me to trust in thee
One great lesson taught to me is the lesson from the tree.
Enable me to release to others the love and forgiveness you give to me
It amazes me how carbon dioxide goes into trees and oxygen is released
Like the tree, keep me with the ability to be the person you made me to be.
And Lord, I'm grateful that it's really true that the best things in life are free.

Today the best things in life are free
~ Keep the air fresh for you and me
The best things in life are free, nothing from your pocket is needed *.
Ray of sunshine on a cold day. Riding the ocean waves in the summer.
A hug from the one you love. A good word. to give or to receive.
Nature with all its mystery is there for you to explore. Don’t cross any border just walk to the edge of town.
Your health. Happiness avoids the sick, and germs avoid those hos think.
*None of the above apply when:
-You have no roof to cover you from the rain and no walls to keep the cold away.
-You are lonely with no one to share anything with.
-You are poor without the means to support yourself. Or without the attributes to fix this.
Life is a journey, and you will need a ticket.
Checkpoints are along the way to filter out those without a valid ticket.
Your Ticket is valid for today; Tomorrow is a new day.
Reach out for the unfortunate ones without a ticket, they are someone's son or a daughter.
Address the world as you would have wanted it to address your kids.
My parents always said to me
The best things in life are free
A clear blue sky, a deep blue sea
~ Ah, too, forgiveness and apology
Wish I could believe
The best things in life are free
Bar wishful thinking

My Thoughts On Protests
(No Matter the Reason)
Miracle Man’s Opinion
6/4/2020
Spring has sprung and temperature is rising,
silly season is here and protest’s become energizing.
It’s a time to air any first amendment whines,
many gather in hordes, some carry indecent signs.
Anarchist never let a peaceful protest go to waste,
they pillage, loot, and leave property defaced.
Seems today we’re relapsing to the past time of fools,
when the man who held the stick made up the rules.
Days are found littered with turmoil and unrest,
and each sunrise brings, something new to protest.
The media isn’t conducive to restful hours of sleep,
when our dreams are exclusively ours to keep.
The English proverb, “The best things in life are free”,
wasn’t meant to infer that you can take it from me.
Smart minds seek solutions for the fix we’re in,
overlooking the deep rooted cause- man’s collective sin.
There Are No Free Lunches

The song, “The best things in life are free”
Beyond a smile, a hug, or a friend, can this be?
Now I’ve never been one who aspired for free stuff,
But others I know complain there’s never enough.
Being free, to me, means some others have paid,
And when I’m footing the bill I feel betrayed.
Anything the Government can give you today,
With tomorrows sun rise it can also take away.
Many become puppets intent being to advance,
The government pulls their string and they dance.
