Easily Tempted

I declare that feeling rage is too awful and insane,
it's a trap we have fallen into one time or another;
we deceived, we lied and went much further:
when guilt stains our conscience we are done!

Easily tempted by a sweet glance,
does it excite us and full us with joy?
a dreamy guy will ask you to dance:

I’d love to go window shopping
For an old lamp —
Maybe break the rules even
And buy it.

Refrain, a lethal old devoid truth, perspective and one’s grasp of reality
A soul paints with the scent of forbidden fruit and heinous words of profanity

My impulsivity gives me a lesson
For a long time the words in me have been quiet
they embrace me on all sides, I do not hear
While the ghosts dance gracefully in the shadows

TEMPTED TO MADNESS

Running away from insanity.
Going crazy with reality.
The Coronavirus staying around,
unmasked people getting out of hand,
ongoing protests all over
police brutality over and over.

I just want to run
to have my freedom.
Freedom to be care free,
not minding anybody.
Even for a brief moment
of peace and contentment.

All I want to do
to make it through

Life plates things daily, which trigger disgust,
uncontrollable things which we don’t understand.
Then fear is birthed from our lack of trust,
fueling worry when things don’t go as planned.

Often worry evolves from a legitimate concern,
but worry holds no power to change our day.
Things we can’t handle though we might yearn,

Nothing we haven't killed or died for
no religion, true

Imagine all the people dead
Life now at peace

You may say i have gave up
but i am not the only one
and more will surely join us
as we watch the world burn

Tempted Eyes

My Heart me tempts, at staring of her eyes,
as if but I, was like a Feast to them;
When she, at me, does glare, my Heart echoes,
"Glory to Thee" and I but start to Blush;
Can I but not utter a word to her,
be it in mind or of the blushing soul;

Tempted By Desire

This world that engulfs us is filled with obstacles,
the dark ambitions grab you, with it's tentacles.

Deception, lies and lust, make up his arsenal.
Desire wreaks it's havoc and the devil comes to call.

Your struggles make you weak and then you lose control.
Temptation by desire, leads us down a deep dark hole.

No one is immune to him
