Premium MemberNATURE EyE TOGETHER AS FRIENDS-

Amidst the covenant dawn’s light;
Premise sparks of darkness bright;
For it’s he whom holds the dawn;
Shown shining is the searching fawn;
~

Natures calling where is the spring;
Midst the dance the winter birds sings;
Ahh! Did I so ever mention?
Now that I have your attention;

Premium MemberBastogne Winter

It is Christmas in a pine grove
Holding vigil in a foxhole
Not an atheist to be found
As artillery shakes the ground
The pines adorned with crystal flecks
And pinecones as ornaments
A cardinal in all its red
Sits atop Tannenbaum's crest
A piece of fruitcake would taste great
(The regifted and given treat)
Sgt. Kilmer's words to this novice
(As I take in this conus coppice)
"Poems are made by fools like me
But only God can make a tree"
A semblance of a Gospel decree
And the "evergreen" nature of the greenery
With these Christmas trees, alone
I open my "C-rats" in my foxhole
Then pen a letter home from Bastogne

Premium MemberSins of Trees

An ancient oak has been cut down
Its leaves were always falling down
Its  sin was being messy

An aged Weeping Fig on a paved parkway
Town Council all agreed it could not stay
Its sin was its roots that invaded the asphalt

A towering Maple that grew next door
Was also a victim of this war
Its sin - was growing too close to the house

The sins of trees are really sins of man.
Who planted them without a plan.
Contemplate these empty spaces and weep.

These places left where a tree once stood
Disturb a soul like nothing should.
Accommodate and let them live

Tail-Rhyme
A Tail-Rhyme (also known as a tailed-rhyme) is a type of poem that has a very specific structure. In short, the piece begin with either a couplet or a triplet of lines that consist of rhymed lines. This set of either a couplet or triplet is then followed by a "tail", which is a fourth line that does not rhyme with the couplet or triplet that preceded it. This tail line tends to be shorter in length than those lines within the couplet or triplet. This type of poetry can also be used with stanza, known as a tail-rhyme stanza, but in these pieces, all of the tail lines rhyme with each other.

Premium MemberHouse In Yellow Daisies

The house in the yellow daisies,
is captivated by breezy graces,
near a meadow very green.

Bluebirds flutter by in summer,
scarlet berry bushes to plunder,
where nature is queen.

Gold stars flash all springtime,
when crickets call for nighttime,
ending red butterfly scenes.

Premium MemberCat Dog Fight

Cats-dogs fight - is a common sight,
Each thinks: fighting is their birthright;
As though each exhibits their might,
Or trust in the code: might is right;
Fight is canine story...

Dogs don't harm cats, in real fact,
They throw a sound that seems half-cracked;
Cats maintain their harsh hiss, intact,
In fact, both seem to seal a pact;
Canines have their glory...

Predator dogs feel merriment,
Fleshy cats, to experiment;
Dogs stare, for cats, is worriment,
In them, is hidden, dark cerement;
Doesn't it seem gory...?

Who is great, truly, who is small?
In the house, where they, often, loll;
This query when grows very tall,
The killer instinct, in them, crawl;
This story is hoary...

When it is not tittle-tattle,
When it comes to real battle;
When both, in annoyance, rattle;
Both turn stronger than tough cattle;
Story turns vainglory...

Premium MemberBlood Solstice

This time of year the Sun is a short traveler,
nights are long and the world is darker;
The North prepares for the Winter Solstice ;

The people of the village bring in trees
following tradition and what they believe,
The Fey Of The Wood all but forgotten;

This blatant disrespect for nature
the fairies sing blind with anger;
Fury will make them reap what they sow;

Natural ornaments or home made things
each one must make an offering,
for the price of poaching all the pines;

Candy on the limbs makes fairies weak,
filthy iron or silver is extremely toxic;
This offense demands swift judgment;

Serene forest raped and beaten alive
sacrilege must not be left to thrive,
 Brutality demands their blood.

Stars

High in the noire and empty skies ,
 They blink like broken bulbs..
 Late in the eve when the last bird flies,
They shine like diamonds in dirt..

 When the sun`s sunk down and the tides are high
 And the weather`s pleasant with glee..
 They burn-on across in the somber sky
 With the glow of pearls in the sea..

Premium MemberLife's Cycle

Conceived, then born in accordance with God's grand plan,
I'm thrust into a world that I don't understand,
and introduced to pain.

As a child, fantasy forged my reality;
allowing me to feel untethered and carefree,
communing with nature.

Curiosity fueled imagination;
marking my youth as a time of observation,
and loss of innocence.

I found the world a highly competitive place;
roughly divided by belief, gender, and race,
all conditioned to lie.

Hope provided me with something to hold on to,
a thread, from which a fundamental feeling grew;
blossoming into faith.

My mortal life experience seems short to me
although I suspect it only appears to be;
for we're eternal souls.

To me, death's a journey, not a destination:
an ethereal extension of creation:
life's cycle, thus complete.

"Nature is an endless combination and repetition of a few laws."

_ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The flowers voluntarily give all summer,
and nectar is taken by each whirling 'hummer.
And seeds fly in the wind !

The flowers and trees relinquish, bequeath their seeds,
we all could learn by doing and giving good deeds.
Be helpful and be kind !

The bees drift from each bloom and carry sweet nectar,
they are important and I am their protector.
Bees drinking is a find !

Give of self to a cause and become a giver,
without compensation- let good thoughts deliver.
Don't be "thank you" inclined !

In nature all things are connected by magic,
why in humanity do we find scenes tragic?
Let's be more nature twined !

Premium MemberFlower Power

Flower power is a vibe from a hippy time
And maybe there was even a hippy rhyme.
But what if I?

Flower power might be what the botanist grows with pride,
The many colors in his garden he will never ever hide!
Just want a rose?

To the baker in the kitchen flour power might be a play on words
Because he wanted to make his cookie cutter song birds!
Yummy to me!

Flower power might be the cure for depression blues
Because their message to you is honest, fresh and true.
Nature and fresh air.

Flower power might be different meaning to all,
Because to each the meaning has a vibrant call.
Peace, prosperity and health.

World of Beauty

I wish to sing as sweetly as the birds high in their trees
To fly, to jump in crackly dry leaves
And to venture to places unexplored.

I wish there be eagles that soar
Over mountains, rivers, and more.
I hope small joys are forever accounted for
And for nature’s simple scenes to not be ignored.

I wish for bosom friends to look not in vain
of glorious nature, petals washed in silver rain,
And for all people to see the beauty, which has from this earth, poured.

Light of Love

Hues of amber illuminate the open sky, painting an image of wonder in each cloud passing by,
Scents of summer softly awaken sleepy eyes, while sparrows' songs bid the previous evening goodbye,
Bliss captured in this paradise.

Ice crystals of fog sway above the rivers flow, ever so gently blowing kisses to the rocks below,
Lofty evergreen towers from years ago, pine needles dance a tranquil ballet in a mid-day show,
Whom would such a place not suffice?

Overwhelming awe in this captivating land, magnificent beauty molded by the creator's hand,
Inhaling the glory of life’s gift so grand, releasing the calm mind and spirit as the lungs expand,
Light of love always will arise.

Happiness For Free

Green leaves of different shades, happily, merrily shaking and dancing,
Squirrels scampering up and down, colourful flowers and fruits entrancing.
Most happiness giving things are free!

Melodious chirping of colourful birds fills the air throughout the day,
Fluttering beauties in the sky and trees, I often wonder what they say.
Most happiness giving things are free!

Majestic mountains changing colours different shades of grey, brown, white, green,
Beautiful clouds in background, mist draping them create an enchanting scene.
Most happiness giving things are free!

Different shades of blue, yellow, white paint beautiful scenery in day,
At night sparkling stars, moon, clouds creating a beautiful imagery lay.
Most happiness giving things are free!

Emotive words of love, helping hands, positive talks, praise, concern and care,
Beautiful muse, melodious music, smile and laughter, someone to share.
Most happiness giving things are free!

Metamorphosis

Your transition is a miracle
A Divine orchestrated Oracle
Like the ever-changing caterpillar
Metamorphosed into a butterfly

 Graceful and Beautiful
 Bright and Colourful
Gracefully transforming its body
Spinning itself like a silky cocoon

 For a season, it goes through pain
To renew the old nature again
Digesting and releasing enzymes
 To dissolve all of its old tissues

  It learns to creep and crawl
 Then it learns to stand tall
 Fashioned to fly and to soar
 To kiss the beauty of a flower

 He's made us priest and kings
 And He's given you these wings
Spread these wings every day
 And fly just like the butterfly

Pawpaw Adage of Life

PAW PAW ADAGE OF LIFE.

I know this fruit
I know its old nursery rhyme
I love its taste so sweet
The softness and sweetness align

But where thou grow makes me wonder
In bola thou stand amidst dirt
Cheered by smells and empty nylons
There you stand so tall and with ripe fruits

Thou sweetness is like Cummings
Your surrender on the mouth like a soft romance
Your taste on the lips sweet like a lovely kiss

Your watery body make my mouth wet
While my tongue leak up your juice
As it gives a slippery passage
For your easy sliding into my waiting stomach.

This I know I for sure
A star can shine in the dark sky
When nature unlucks its features
From nowhere a man shines.
