For Aung San Suu Kyi

For Aung San Suu Kyi

“Courage comes from cultivating the habit
Of refusing to let fear dictate one’s actions”

The freedom of a pacifist
Is sitting in front of everyone’s door
Do you open the door
Or you keep it shut
Choices are made every day
When there is a war going on
You can go to war
And serve the dictators
