Premium MemberHollywood Has Been, Unkind

Hollywood casts its new shooting star
Opulence follows the tale
Larger than life lifestyle sits on green gables
Larger than life ego sips from golden goblets
Yearly excursion to the plastic surgeon
Whirlwind romances blow
Overseas to cease and desist two diseases
Oil of olay won't save the day
Dingy can't find a safe port
Hollywood's new shooting star shot with penicillin
An arrow a day keeps the shivers from quivers away
She still swears he gave it to her
Both attend the press conference with lawyers
Exuberant fans become ex-fans
Except when cutting red ribbons at fastfood takeout stakeouts
Nobody notices the smell for weeks

COSMIC BLINKING

Moving,
Blinking the moon,
Bold shaped clouds
Drifting by:-
Likewise,
A flock of geese
Silhouette the sky;
Their flapping wings,
Waving goodbye:
My blinking eyes,
Release goodbye
Mirroring tears
Of keloid memories
Of you and me
As a shooting star
Departed the sky:-

A SHOOTING STAR

In quietness of night,
a fired star waving goodbye;
turning off its light:-

Premium MemberInterview with a Shooting Star

I met a streak across the night,
a blaze of breath, a flash of flight.
A shooting star with silver flare
 descended near, through whispered air.

I asked, “You fall so fast and bright—
what secrets do you steal from night?”
It flickered once, then shaped a voice
as if my soul had been its choice.

"I carry wishes, hopes unspoken,
tokens of hearts that remain broken.
 Each trail I burn, a soul’s demand—
a silent prayer not made by hand."

“Do you regret the paths you take,
so brief your flame, then you forsake
the sky, the stars, your cosmic kin—
for just one flash to spark within?”

It laughed—a sound like chiming glass—
"Regret is for the ones who pass
through time without a burst or flare.
I live in sparks, I scorch the air."

"You interview me as I fade,
but do you live the life you’ve made?
Or wait like dust in twilight’s seam,
hoping I’ll grant your dormant dream?"

I tried to speak, but it was gone,
a sizzle swept the dark to dawn.
Yet in my chest, a burning scar—
left by the words of that bold star.

Premium MemberCamping With The Friends

Once upon a time, it was a good day to be camping with the friends,
We stroll into the campgrounds, put the logs into the firepit,
Light the fire in the fire pit, get out our marshmallows,
We sit on the makeshift benches, we have the ingredients,
To make our Mountain Dew glow in the dark,
We exchange ghost stories as we roast our marshmallows,
We hold our soul mates hands, as we sip our sodas,
Some of our soul mates jump, startled by,
Mike’s ghost story as he performs with his body language,
the mysterious ghost of Darkwood cemetery,
our soul mates suddenly jumps,
a shooting star passes over as we gaze at the stars,
brightly shining, we wish upon the star,
as we gaze into each other’s eyes and wish upon the star,
that, we be soul mates forever,
Oh, yeah, it was a good day to be camping with the friends.

Premium MemberStar Patterns

Stars are flashing jewels of light
worn by angels, dripping sparkles
that hover within nights’ indigo skies.

Each stellar star is a heavenly diamond
carefully cut and crafted by the hand of God
cradled and held, as unique as a fingerprint
marking the lines of space and time.

Creator God set the stars in their courses
He knows each one by name
a shooting star rises, flares and bursts
it crescendos like fleeting fireworks
another star is set to become a part
of an interstellar constellation.

Every star is orchestrated to appear
within its own designated stanza
whether in a bright, intense chorus
or a quiet, wistful solo
each star has its unique pattern
and each star is a radiant reflection
of the majestic glory of God.

Premium MemberTrue Lovers and the Star

True Lovers and the Star
Under the clear night sky
sat a boy and a girl
who professed true love for each other

‘One day I will capture you a star’
said the boy confidently

The girl was amused
and cuddled up with him
deep inside his arms

They would grow into young adults
and would continue to go star gazing

‘My promise to you is real’
said the young man

The girl felt his love
and held his hand
with interlocking fingers

They would turn mid-age together
yet would still find their way under the night sky

‘I have not forgotten about your star’
said the now slightly graying man

Their love was true
and their kisses were as rich as ever

Old age reached them
and they looked out the window of the hospital room
up to the skies and they saw a shooting star

‘That star is for you my love’
he whispered as his final breath released him

For the first time she was alone
yet she had her star

Shooting Star

Attractive and luminous,
Burning on your golden path
Like an adamant against the sun.
Symbolising every entity,
Caught up in spontaneity
Perusing the conscientious.
Uninspired to aspire
Yet inspiring the phenomenal,
As they claim all of what you grant.
During your death, they wield smiles
Making wishes of a lifetime
While you dance in cosmic time.

Premium MemberStardust

Sleeping under open skies,
without any street and city lights,
I saw the sky full of stars overhead,
Some nights, I would watch a flurry of shooting stars,
Bringing down small dust particles from exploding stars,
The stardust would shimmer in nearby skies with a dusty glint.

When I watch the stars on quiet nights,
Stardust evokes the mystery of the past of distant planets,
Everything around us is made of remnants of stars,
We carry a little bit of the universe within us.

In the autumn, tree leaves sparkle with marvel of colors,
In the night, some stardust shines on some of the leaves,
The leaves fall on the ground with the blowing wind,
The fallen leaves hold the spark of the cosmos as its eternal bliss.

He had found himself falling in love with a shooting star.
It was not too long until they had got so very far.
Sooner or later, their love burns into various shooting stars.

Premium MemberStar

I wished upon a shooting star
Tired of life’s ho hum meanderings
A wish for something more
A cure for cancer
Food for the hungry
Homes for the homeless
Clothes for the unclothed and
Dreams to come true
For the dreamers
Whether the star has
These powers never
Occurred to my
Unadulterated thoughts
But a wish is just that
A positive flow of energy
And thoughts and prayers

Facades Dying Star

Bird with feathers of fire, phoenix metronome,
bursts on the edges of the atmosphere.
Crumbling to dust, ash and powdery bones,
fore a chance never truly appears.
A velleity is made at her shooting tomb,
deities will not honor this wish I fear.
Her diary, her historical tome,
inferno makes disappear.
She was never here.
Heart and spear
Arrow flange
Beak tip
Cupid

Supernova shot in the dark
Earth holds its breath
Lost a work of art
Flames it reigns
Pyre it rains

Sapphire jejune illustration lives onyx mockery

It's a beauty and a crime
