Stardust
Sleeping under open skies,
without any street and city lights,
I saw the sky full of stars overhead,
Some nights, I would watch a flurry of shooting stars,
Bringing down small dust particles from exploding stars,
The stardust would shimmer in nearby skies with a dusty glint.
When I watch the stars on quiet nights,
Stardust evokes the mystery of the past of distant planets,
Everything around us is made of remnants of stars,
We carry a little bit of the universe within us.
In the autumn, tree leaves sparkle with marvel of colors,
In the night, some stardust shines on some of the leaves,
The leaves fall on the ground with the blowing wind,
The fallen leaves hold the spark of the cosmos as its eternal bliss.
