My Muse Trixie Makes Fun of Me

my muse is plotting every inch of my time today
I try to escape but there is actually no way
on writing poetry and fiction, she is hardily keen
I cannot refuse Trixie, for she is insanely mean

no prepositions, she orders me in a stern way
But verbs and adverbs are okay, for they are merry and gay
On a pristine white page Trixie writes the rules down
She adds that I am a goof pot, a weirdy cat and a clown.

I would like to escape Trixie, but she’s solidly in my head.
She plants ideas in my imagination while I’m in bed.
Hey, Trixie, don’t you have an uncle or cousin to go see?
She laughs at my anguish, making more fun of me.

keep the dOOr
     clOsed
  bathe
the steps & car
   thOse
hazardous
areas
   the mat
underfOOt
  handle
that can drive
   yOur nOse
        craz…eee

what blOOming
   daffOdils
      willOws
         wisteria
bradfOrd pears
              O
          my
   eyes
see
     flOaters
      flOtsam
  pOllen  I thOught
swiping at my hair
  nOt gnats   drats
strangers   with wings
               O
           Spring
   we sing
sOngs of thee
  hutchOO
  and
eee…ew
  sO
beautiful
     tOOdOOlOO
            tO the cOld
   sOlidly sOld
On glOrifying cOlOrs
  hutchOO   eee…ew

         Spring’s
dreadfully  beautiful

Call it Presence

Call it presence

Solidly empty

Infinite time and space

No-movement moving

And none of the above..

But unmistakably present

As all of the above..

Call it presence...

Solidly frozen
At times sometimes
Pains wake up
Within the cages 
Of my ribs
To play a game
A game of hide and seek,
Again sometimes
With the first rain of springs
Flora and fauna
Gets a new lease
A lease of life,
And when
The blooming fireflies
Silently give a solemn kiss
It's then
That the sad nerve
Shivers to feel,
Trysts of vast mind
Feels every moment
Unfounded darkness
But it's there
A confluence of happiness and sorrow
Eternal congregation .

Standing With And For Liberty

If you stand strongly with and for Liberty
I will fearlessly join you
If you stand firmly for Freedom
I will cheer the noble gestures of your kingdom
If you stand enthusiastically for Equality
I will ecstatically stand with you too
If you stand for good democracy
I will help you spread the seeds of Love
I will happily clap when the doves are hovering above
If you stand solidly for fair and equal justice
I will help you ring the bells of peace
I will fervently pray for you all the time
I will sporadically listen to the tintinnabulation of the chime
Brothers and sisters, I have tears of hope in my eyes today
Otherwise
My pen is able and ready amidst the fray
And it won’t be so wise
Because I love my fellow human beings, our people
Who are black, red, white, yellow and purple.

Happy for my BFF

played with his toes;
feet solidly suited,

two months old
in my BFF’s arms.

I’m getting over cold,
or as I told her,

“I’d get in her business,”
and swoop the fella

into my arms -
what a charm.

the miracle is
there are three.

my friend thought
she’d tally zero.

tangible those toes;
and the two year old

is shyer than shy,
sporting a ponytail.

the five year old
outshines;

Chucky Cheese
can’t keep up.

he will charm
the kindergarteners.

blessed is my BFF -
I smile at God winks.

*BFF - best friends forever

FORGIVEN ME-

"A heartfelt prayer
 of repentance and gratitude.

Forgiveness sought;
Divine mercy Your Truth;
 Past, present, future tense,
 God's righteousness"
Father's Humility all He's done for us

"We'rs acknowledge God's forgiveness
Release burdens
Embrace redemption

"Dear Heavenly Father,
I confess my wrongdoings.
Thank You for forgiving me.
Cleanse and renew my heart.
May Your love guide me forward.
Amen."

May God's forgiveness and peace envelop us

O' Gracious Righteous Father 
You solely solemnly already

I am balancing myself on my dog, who is built solidly.
He does not flinch, holds steady, my wolf dog, Lee.
A purple giraffe is watching, and he does not look happy.
The cat gives him a hiss, but he does not flinch of flee.

On my left arm I am balancing a dodo bird named Fee.
Hovering near my right arm is a colorful pink and green bee.
There are some posies in the meadow, said my friend Shelly.
A cat is walking by wearing blue jeans that have a sticker, Lee.

Seeking Safety from Sex-Sells Socials

Salacious, sultry
Simplistic signs of
Seedy sensory
Semi sentimental sales on
Socials
Surreptitiously
Slinking ..
Slowly
Sliding into your 
Sphere and
Psyche.
Psychologically
Seducing
Some senses so
Suspiciously 
Satisfying 

So,
Surrender self;
Shield for safety,
Stand strong
Secure salient sentience 
Successfully 
Set sights solidly -
So soul secures solidarity
In sacred sanctuary of
Shalom

Somewhere,
Sandy sunsets certainly save,
Silky spider's web sparkles in sunshine,
Soft sensory surroundings subdue
Significant silent scenery in
Summery satisfaction.
Soporific seaside sounds 
Singing in sympathy 
Solitary safe sanctuary of seduction
Saving soul's sanity.
Selah.

Slowly, so slowly..
Spirituality of the natural
Nestles into the nape of
Normality 
Now knowing
Nature's notably neutralising
Nurturing
Nourishment nectar of
Never-ending 
Nirvana

Christmas

Normally, the month just…ends.

But November?

November halts.

The world halts.

For the snowflakes that are like gentle, silent fireworks.  

December is here, and December is loud.

Not harsh, but rather like,

Trains in the distance,

Or people whistling across a grocery store.

Christmas is waiting, solidly, but smiling.

Christmas comes like a snowflake that lands perfectly.

Family, friends.

All landing perfectly.

There is a sense of completeness, on Christmas Day.

I always feel changed, on Christmas.

I write my resolutions.

I dream my future.

With friends, that I promised to see again soon.

January.

The snow is done falling, and it’s clumpy and dirty.

I got an alarm clock for Christmas.

I set it every day.

Lost Dreams

Synapses tickle each other
Is it just for fun 
Nearly a connection
But decide to knock-and-run

Like a colourful projection
On some passing cloud 
Or a whisper of protection
With no voice to shout aloud 

So my slowly waking moments
Tend to fool that I was there
In alternative reality
With it's wanderlust and flare

Then the bump of landing solidly
Though my bed is soft and cosy 
With the vague allure of memory
Of a moonlight dance so dozey

I grasp at stars that vanish
And loves that fade away..
Oh to capture night-time's magic
In a jar of light some day

A short little note from my pen to your eyes
Then into your heart to live and reside
It's written for you and it wants you to know
That the dream of together will never let go

I'll wait 'cause I love you and that will not change 
It's solidly rooted, it won't rearrange
Or diminish in nature, alive and intense
A love self contained, subdued, yet immense

The Dreaming Mind

Every night we all dream
Projecting the habits of a reifying mind
Onto the fabric of an energized neural net
Creating a world within a world
Just as amazing, just as solidly real.

And every day we perceive, sense objects and mental formulations
Projecting the habit of a reifying mind
Onto the fabric of an energized phenomenal world
Each creation the same
Habitual activity of a creative projecting mind.

Almost everyone acknowledges the creative projective
Habitual function of the night-dreaming mind
While few notice the very same mind 
Must be doing the very same thing
At all times: asleep or awake!

It’s easy to assign causal agency
To ourselves when we’re all alone
Harder when we are but a small part
Of a much greater whole, and yet,
The common denominator remains the dreaming mind.

Waking or sleeping
The dreaming mind incessantly does its thing
Dreaming of subjects experiencing objects
Dreaming of worlds within and out
Dreaming that its dreaming makes it separate from the dream.

I Want To Be a Writer

I want to be a writer
I want words to worm their way
Out of the outer oblivion orchard
Where I pick pink pieces of my mind.
I want to be a poet
I want poppies picked perfectly preserved
From the consciously created cracks of concrete
Found situated solidly in separated stanzas.
I want to be a singer
I want sounds seeping from senseful songs
Instead of trapped tearing at my terrible tongue
As my vocals vanquish my volatile vocabulary.
Unfortunately, the aforementioned is abandoned due to abysmal accidents.
