Call it presence

Solidly empty

Infinite time and space

No-movement moving

And none of the above..

But unmistakably present

As all of the above..

Call it presence...

Snazzy seahorse shimmering and showy
Sashaying in succulent southern seas
Seen by several serious sea-gazers
Solidly shifting and shrinking - simply scintillating!

Courage
See my sun-
It smiles high;
Defeat becomes fun;
It,I sigh.
Some people vow,
Where your hope?
Before any row,
Solidly I cope!
My passport seized,
Thinking that kills,
So travels stopped,
Building me hills.
God sees me,
I never cheated!
Truth is good:
When coming far....

A Palace Built Within
There lies within a palace
Crafted by my mind
Fashioned by the mastery
Of my own design
Nothing is impossible to me
I can fly and glide beneath the sea
Building there I find the life I need
Linked solidly, sublime
The best artistic manifest
Shows forth between the rhyme
I’ve been there
I have seen it
Crafted in my mind...

The Lapse of Time
Losses of days make worry haze
Time is forgettable in mysterious plays.
Deadlines I fear as consequence
Emerging light one's only essence.
Goals make believers solidly blind
To undying fates in the mind.
Wounds converge on the palm
Waves silence in the calm.
Nature holds life's rhythm and blues
Ending wars assimilate forgotten clues....

We Dont Waste Good Taste
That which has a nice taste
One wouldn't want to waste.
Kids would it chew to a paste,
Eating it not in haste:
It is the strongest zeal
For a good kitchen's meal...

To gourmets a nice deal,
Pure delight one can feel;
Some with the heart of Rock
While feeding selves doors lock;
Each moment there's a knock
Their ears solidly block!...

Premium Member Threshold Crossing-
Whispers waves
around the winds
floating becoming intangent hits
wisps
visibly floating solidly
dropping to the ground
the top my head and it is as if
though I've read this before as I cross the threshold
Is this heaven
The peace and whispers across threshold crossings

Premium Member Observing Leopard
Leopard looks solidly relaxed
Reposing in the top of his tree
Using binoculars, I marvel at his beauty.
Or her beauty, there is a regal magnificence about her
I wonder if she senses she is being watched.
As she licks her paws I get a weird feeling that she does not.
But then she stops and stares straight as an arrow toward me.
I stop breathing....

There Is a Wind
There is a wind,
an ageless wind,
blowing with a malevolent motive,
sweeping susceptible souls-
a multitude of them-
like pieces of paper
to where they abhor to be.

I know I possess no power
on my own
to withstand this wind,
but I beseech thee,
oh Lord,
grant me grace
not to waver,
but to stand solidly
till the trumpet sounds
or till my earthly journey ends....

A short little note from my pen to your eyes
Then into your heart to live and reside
It's written for you and it wants you to know
That the dream of together will never let go

I'll wait 'cause I love you and that will not change
It's solidly rooted, it won't rearrange
Or diminish in nature, alive and intense
A love self contained, subdued, yet immense...

Premium Member A Rite of Passage
I taught my son to shave today
Whiskers only he can see
The reflection in the mirror was
A yesteryear one of me

So serious and timidly
Careful with every move
He rinsed away the remaining suds
And again his face was smooth

I taught my son to shave today
With a solidly steady hand
He walked in my bathroom a little boy
And walked out a proud young man...

Premium Member Loves Desire
Mesmerized by you, the soul of my existence.
Created purpose, for no one wants solitary life.
Love conquers, designs our existence.
Makes us embrace, it's very purpose
Our passion ignites desires
Immersed in melodies driven high.
Two hearts on fire, passion esculates
to burning desire.
Love touches, passionate bliss.
The illusive spirit dances within.
Seeds of the future solidly sown....

Let the Flag be Our Agenda
By Franklin Price
4/17/2018

Let the flag be our agenda
Some we have are not the best
When they're politically one-sided
They're not good for all the rest

Blue or Red in color
Solidly to left or right
Leads to the downfall of this country
As we go into the night

Let our flag set our agenda
Let us strive for something new
Put our efforts towards the middle
Somewhere between the red and blue...

Classics Buff
Someone is probably doing an aria,
that labored shrill fit for the opera.

Another soul croons a lilting lullaby,
oohs and aahs rising up to the sky.

Undoubtedly that's a loud trombone,
solidly played, a no-nonsense boom.

Surely I hear a lone trumpet blowing,
pfffttt, that unmistakable errie sound.

A lush symphony of timeless sounds
enlivening my mid-morning rounds.

A poor cleaner-turned-classics buff,
making a living in a public restroom!...

Premium Member describing the meadow and her animal friends
I am balancing myself on my dog, who is built solidly.
He does not flinch, holds steady, my wolf dog, Lee.
A purple giraffe is watching, and he does not look happy.
The cat gives him a hiss, but he does not flinch of flee.

On my left arm I am balancing a dodo bird named Fee.
Hovering near my right arm is a colorful pink and green bee.
There are some posies in the meadow, said my friend Shelly.
A cat is walking by wearing blue jeans that have a sticker, Lee....

The Old Rugged Cross
The Old Rugged Cross,
Where the foundation of my salvation was solidly laid,
Where the pain of my sin was brutally endured
And my visa to the city of Grace was freely given

The Old Rugged Cross
Standing firmly on a hill far away
Where my shame was gloriously taken away
My desire for a new life was bloodily granted
And my agony was sent to extinction

Oh how I cherish The Old Rugged
Where my new life was made new

Premium Member Tremendous Versus Pretensious
The state fair’s introduction of the speaker was stupendous.
Optimistic crowd thought expensive speech would be momentous.
He could have been fantastic, but he was way too pretentious.
It was soon clear that he was quite solidly self- portentous.

Cheap speaker, more heartfelt was the immediate consensus.
Easy words were soul-rendering, stupendous and momentous.
The pretentious, self-serving speaker, a sorry proventous.
Inexpensive one invited back as was clearly tremendous....

Beauteous Strength
Majestic rugged, crude beauty without any questions,
Angling at the inside, asking for my equations,
Jesting with me almost, whispering that I emerge,
Endeared to quiteness, where introversion and shyness converge,
Sat solidly going nowhere, waiting for my feelings,
Teetering on being a person to me with sayings,
Into me, loving my epigraph, my statement and my picture,
Calling me even more so, to fidget with my conjecture....
