The Federal Government shutdown
No work for employees to be found
It has been a good three weeks
The President and the Republicans thinking retreat
What would it take to open the Federal Government?
It’s about both sides on compromise
The thought is no surprise
The capitol logic to realize
America on a holding pattern
Things to do and places to go
No pace simply slow
Being still
Nothing to fulfill
Decision kill
Federal Government having no thought in where they stand
Frozen on high powers command
Washington eyes blind folded
A sight to see with no assurance
Aftermath having no push through influence
How and when being anyone’s guess
Open up the Federal Government to function in request
Stuck on pause
No agreement cause.
Surprised situation
No warning
Darkened city
The unknown
The walking to where?
Silent
People moving cautiously
Elevators stuck everywhere
Fire Department rescue action
Wonders on everyone’s mind
No explanation
Shutdown connection
Condition
Electricity all out
Stuck on pause
No cause
In the once-great City of Chicago
all the public schools are shut down
Teachers threatened to strike
Parents had nervous breakdowns
So there's on-line instruction
up to seven hours a day
Does that sound reasonable
Psychologists say no way...
Meanwhile, Jewish schools are open
All the kids attend, and they're stoked
to prove that public schoolteachers' bravado
~ is no more than a bona-fide hoax
Enforced Shutdown Five
The geek hacked into the jet plane while in flight.
Used his USB and laptop to gain access via the docking port.
Cosmetic damage to widen the port was nothing
compared to cutting the engines and crashing the plane.
Two hundred passengers screamed when the engines fell silent
then cheered madly when they surged at full power.
Terror returned when silence again returned.
What did not return was death.
He tapped on the door and gained entry.
One passenger had a heart attack, another a stroke.
The remaining 198 shouted in dread.
Yes, you're all going to die. Get over it.
Some wrote out their wills, others I love you notes.
When the airliner touched the mountain, it was over.
A kiss of death, ending their plight.
Broken plane, scarred rock, dismembered bodies, burning fuel.
The code Enforced Shutdown Five was emailed to all the networks.
Before the crash actually happened, it was news.
A 123 situation in real time.
Faster than a bullet, it was over.
The hacker parachuted out at the last minute.
It was the third time he'd done this...
Both
Sides
Stubborn
Not budging
Washington impasse
The government shutdown drags on
While the furloughed and unpaid federal workers suffer
When will the captains of complacency in Washington finally end this madness?

he wants to work
needs the pittance
to feed his clan
pay the mortgage
insulting
“adjustments”

Be aware tho who don,t care not willing to share not black or white do what's right they won,t all for a wall stop dreamer from being around that's WHY SHUTDOWN
millions arrived on
capitol hill protesting
goverment shutdown
Weapons of massive destruction
Disabled at the firing button.
Systems of hate shutdown.
Time warped and turned around.
Don't be surprised before your eyes
Are found. Changing color is sound.
Those of Gluttony for Glory sake,
A change of Way comes to take.
The sound is indiscriminate.
Shutdown of weapons imitate.
This includes your tongue.
Envy corrodes the fun.
Greed is a worthless One.
