Both
Sides
Stubborn
Not budging
Washington impasse
The government shutdown drags on
While the furloughed and unpaid federal workers suffer
When will the captains of complacency in Washington finally end this madness?

But, I also think of Americans who suffered before this shutdown and now, just like those federal workers, who went broke over health costs and lost everything. It is terrible. It hurts the GOP, Dems, federal workers, the economy, America's reputation all around the world. GOP and Dems need to put their egos aside and bring an end to this very harmful shutdown. Enough is enough!

I try not to let current events get to me, but when a Pensacola mother goes on TV to say her Coast Guard member husband is working without pay and she doesn't know how to explain it to her children -- well that raises my ire. Both sides should come up with some sort of compromise already! This does no good for anybody, for any party! Sad...
