Shadows
Leading nowhere
Reflected in a mirror
Intricate shards in wooden frame

Each one rides a stick.
Delighted children gallop.
Go, wooden pony.

The twists and turns of an old tree’s body;
stories in a wooden case;
pages in Earth’s diary.
Childhood memories
Woven into wooden floors,
Spirits of the home
Awakened by my footsteps
Dance me to the sounds of old
3 black churches
turned into smolder
a flint toothed ogre
munches a wooden cross
in the shadows
of his black soot mind
On wooden bridge to lone boat I'll run,
sail on colors of rising sun.

BREATH OF EAGLES
climb where eagles soar
open slats breathe on my shoes
crude wooden railing

haiku
In the wooden bowl
Persimmons on the table
Next to the fruit cake
Half eaten on a large plate
Leftover cheese and crackers
Strength and harmony
Wooden tools and spotless aprons
Good will as old as time

In columns of twos,
The ants march out
Like wooden soldiers,
Across the sky
To taste the swirls
Of pink
Cotton candy clouds
Sitting crosslegged
on golden sands
feeling a jasmine
scented breeze
in our hair
as we ate ice cold papya
with wooden forks..
Suddenly, lights from a car outside.
Ghosts on a wooden floor,
created by a window and snow.
This is the way you leave the world.
Walked acrost the wooden door
Threshold above the wooden floor
Forewords world is the score
Sad and weary the tales I lore
laundry lines
wooden clothespins
white sheets
flapping...
ghosts of my
imagination...
like Halloween
this year
disappeared
delicate flowers
a blue of morning glory
twining vines with grace
my old wooden spindle fence
has no power against winds

The butterfly's wings
Moves to and fro when it flies
Like a wooden fan
While resting on the flowers
Look like slopes of muddy land
A bit of yellow tzuica
Hors d`oeuvres:trendy
Known by Dracula:brandy
Kept in big bellied
Fir wooden barrels
For weddings.
Strong!
A removal man named Fred
Moved furniture heavy as lead
Carrying a big wooden door
He fell on the floor
Fred wasn't moving he's dead
Enclosed by ragged
wooden fence, yellow apples
have fallen into
grasses where children once played
and laughter no longer sounds.
The Rink
Wooden floor the skater speeding, racing around it.

Don’t
you hate
it when all
the cutlery is
dirty and you’re
eyeing up that huge
decorative wooden fork
that’s hanging on the wall?
Kemanging Chawa
wants to drive the wooden ship
passengers refused
some of them had said:
Chawa is old aged fox
others said March time
Wooden horse
Outside stone walls
The Trojans
Shall conquer
And divide us all
Where does
This light
Glow in
Her eyes
Helen of Troy
Unknown
a wooden statue
carved by unknown hands perhaps
an E.T. worshipped
by an ancient native tribe
who witnessed unknown aliens
