Take a chance and enter silence Hold still on sacred ground Resting flow of thought violence Let throb of bliss astound Within our heart, dwells God Tip toe therein unshod Wonderstruck soul is awed To advance Take a chance

Bright
summer
days ahead
swimming pool as
golden seaside haunt
children building castles
suntan folk blow warm kisses
blue sky chatter from wonderstruck
beach goer swept up by atmosphere
of oceanic green tide’s sweet ripple

Lovestruck
"Lovestruck"

Wonderstruck on this cheerful midnight,
I overheard the stars by luck.

Starstruck, I pluck the aroma,
An art of white spirituality.
Throw this bouquet off the riverbed,

Refuge this wonderstruck heart,
Sheath ourselves, shuck the peart.

Dumbstruck by this philosophy,
I fall dumbstruck back to sleep....

The Devil's Footprints Mystery
It snowed all night;
I woke to white,
without a sound,
no one around,
but then I saw the footprints in the snow.

Whose prints they were I didn't, couldn't know;
they were not mine,
all in a line,
for miles on end.
I won't pretend
I didn't shiver (it was snowing though...)

written 20th November for Robert's Wonderstruck contest...

                an all new design
       as fluffy bumps become seen
            how snowflakes collide
          morphing into soft pillows
and a child in bed dares dream

not only not counting
even forgetting
milestones
we are wonderstruck as spirit
beauteously consciousness hones

behold how a flower blossoms
unfolding petal by petal
likewise we too ascend
the only doing we do
is will to God’s magnetism bend

life unfolds by itself
replay of what is already impulsed
déjà vu experiences confirms our view
yet our heart takes delight
in imbibing each new bliss beat hue...

Unknowing
Be confounded.
Raise a thousand doubts,
trust not words
or the light of the moon –
it has none.
Be troubled,
your safety lies in
utter bewilderment.

A learn-ed parrot
once instructed a Robin Red Breast,
the robin cocked its head
befuddled by the echoic redundancy
of the parrots lecture.
Which bird was wiser?
A donkey carrying a load of books
is still a donkey.

Claim your right to be wonderstruck,
unknowing, puzzled -
adore in endless amazement....
