It Made Me Smile

City in a fog
Morning’s bleary eyes open
Lone soul witness to
Sixth-floor birds eye view, coffee
Whirring – warm in this moment.

God's Lullaby

hush whirring worries
let calm and faith take over
cradled in God's arms...

Premium Member Tweet and Twitter

Outside my window, hark! a tweet
Alarm clock opens, a whirring twitter

These words' meanings, we depleted
   Their message, away we frittered

I Can'T Wait

I love the way it spins around,
Milkshake mixer's whirring sound,
Lots of milk, chocolate flavour,
What a drink it is to savour,
Better still as it goes down.

cavity at our jugular notch deepens
even as our third eye lets out a sigh
cause by magnetic wheel therein whirring
that soon in the void soul may wingless fly

the dawn’s scuttlebutt dovetails with the dishwasher whirring and tweeting the wagging of beaks and wings movement of a writer’s hands

Premium Member June Bug

with the monsoon rains, a green June bug came whirring, to our living room~ my smart cat after playing, gulped down this hapless victim.

Premium Member Mental Slippage

Echoes, thoughts thrown off-course
illusive as in "vision blurring"...
ennui, with nothing to reinforce
imagery. Silence disturbed by purring,
odd admixture of buzzing and whirring.

Oven and Supper

Hand of Mechanical Mayhem,
wrought upon the Ghosts of the Machine,
lost in the Whirring Cog of the Lunar Alignment,
where a Shepard’s Pie cooked in the beam of light.

Dinner is done.

cartwheels of energy
whirring, rotating
within each cell
as a whole looping form
an enigma we do not analyse
for it is what it is
an endless evolution
in divine entwined celebration

Premium Member Bliss Bath

we are waiting
without seeking
content feeling
rapture peaking

toroidal heart
gently purring
nodes in form
begin whirring

bliss is as it is
ever present
each life breath
moon crescent

Oh Intricate Eye

The whirring of the ion drive,
The zig-zig movement of the illuminati,
Across the sky,
A pyramid police force,
And a mind reading eye,
The power to beam realities on people's minds,
And an intricate eye.
They have arrived.

the suction force magical
of the guru chakra
draws in the essence of soma
from the whirring third eye
upwards, upwards, through itself
into the crown chakra
that as a seamless whole we be
entwined with universal mind

so be it

Premium Member Victorious Defeat

My team lost – 32-0.
But in my defense
It was just me
Against the whirring windmill
Of a seven year old.
I told her I was
70 years older than her
She laughed and said
“just play the game Papa,
Just play the game”

My Chaos

My Chaos

I am boiling in oil;
My personal catastrophe;
Whirring like a western dirt devil;
The devil’s got hold of me.

I stop – I believe I am called,
To look toward a heavenly face,
I feel a surge of quiet joy,
I rest in this chaos of place.

Back at the ranch
The 'new normal'
is a case
of Bud
in the basement fridge
Meanwhile
A/C grinding away
TV flickering
Clumps of munchies
stuck to the upholstery
Kids glued to devices
whirring away --
Hey, Where'd Hope go?
Conversation-enders

Circuitry

My buzzing, humming, whirring gears have stopped. The manual doesn't have a chapter for this. Warm hands brush away my hair, and the circuit boards spark. Wires glow with electricity, and I gladly overheat.

I'm losing control, and the circuits override,

Don'T Reveal Your Clockwork Crystals

pristine forest just behind you
lost where no one else will find you
off across the vast domain
of your childhood you remain
don't reveal your clockwork crystals
whirring,spinning
in the mist all
things will right themselves
in time
never
consecrate
the crime

energised palms
whirring third eye
enlivened spine
tingling soles
the Bindu point
and open fontanel
orbits toroidal heart
as the energy grid
hums with power
graced by spirit

all centres in unison
echo bliss pulsations
signalling cooperation
in the dance divine

Angel's Wings

Angel’s wings beat very softly.
Most people, in fact, do not hear them at all,
When danger comes or sorrows arise in life.

If you listen closely, you will hear them
Softly whirring, majestically sent to minister to you,
When God answers your prayers- as on Him you call.

Premium Member Here now this morn

caress of bliss as soft as a feather
or as a wheel whirring at any node
each pore a door pulsating together
the void of no-thingness is our abode
where vibrant presence sings to God an ode
wonder struck sensing bliss magnetism rise
with each breath ushering a new surprise

In-flight
In pheromone
Honeysuckle perfume
Insect antennae knot freshly
bouquet.

In breeze
I feel your breath
rustle shiny reeds
of my stints' hapless hinterland
you learn.

A vest
of velveteen
gleaming wings that trembled
Turn to a whirring glint beneath
full moon.

Premium Member The Egress of Access

Sitting in the middle of the road
Surrounded by the cyclone of traffic
Whirring in opposite directions
Windows closed, eyes front, minions
Mindful of the presence of one
Misguided middle of the roader
Unable to understand the
Urgency of either side
