In-flight In pheromone Honeysuckle perfume Insect antennae knot freshly bouquet. In breeze I feel your breath rustle shiny reeds of my stints' hapless hinterland you learn. A vest of velveteen gleaming wings that trembled Turn to a whirring glint beneath full moon.

a lovely and soft poem, dear Sotto. Your use of elegant vocabulary creates such beautiful images. Your poem flows so well as it describes the bird as it turns to a whirring glint beneath a full moon. Beautiful imagery throughout this cinquain chain, absolutely love the way you’ve written this. “ honeysuckle perfume” i love that and how you’ve gone so descriptive making every cinquain flow with the other seamlessly! “ in breeze i feel your breath” that is soul touching and expresses such deep emotions. “ gleaming wings that trembled” love that .
