From Birth Had Been Blind

From Birth Had Been Blind

from birth had been blind
God did put things in my mind
clear and well defined

An Introduction

An Introduction

I come well worn from decades past
Not torn but well defined
A spirit found at last
And here upon this shore
With universal twine
Aligned

Reaper

The reaper has no Reservations; he works from A well-defined list. Numbers revolve in Cosmic order; when one is Up, it is just up.

Now Out In Cold

Now Out In Cold

Trump's measurements were not well-defined;
Including both his large head and big behind;
Another lie told;
Left us in cold;
Somewhere in fools paradise him we did find.

Space So Confined

Space So Confined

We often exist in a space so confined;
Left us restless and no peace of mind;
Search through day by day,
And hope will come my way;
By God many things for me well-defined.

Relax

RELAX

Relax, be calm

Be quiet, be still

Relax, be patient

Let go, and chill

Relax yourself and you will find

Peace and comfort, so well defined

You now feel content, refreshed and fine

Your stress has gone, left far behind!

Pewter Kiss

Firm brazen and tempting to boot,
subtle and elegant.
Well defined shapely and haunting
void of color yet as colourful as they come.
Bound for parting red
beckoning with wanton,
A kiss a simple kiss perserved
forever in heaven.
Bound for bliss.

Winter

Winter -
the shortest day
begins the coldest time
of this earth's well defined seasons,
and hibernation settles where needed
until the sun returns again
to mark a new season
and warm away
winter

The Story of Him

The perfect smile, the enchanting eyes
The way he laughs, the way he cries
The well-defined chest, the muscular arms
The awkward moments, the boyish charms
The gentle touch, the warm romance
The tender kiss, the climactic dance
The clearest memory, the darkest sky
The first hello, the last goodbye

A Poet's Lament

Had I time
to learn a craft today
it would not be poetry
perhaps quilting using batiks
or other fabrics
that tell tales exotic
or maybe origami
with it's well defined shapes
for with poetry
not unlike ivory carving
good material is scarce,
there are only so many words
the comprehending will stand for

Dumpster Dive

Meat and potatoes grind
In the dimly lit alleys of my mind
Under the lobster tails and lemon rind
Inside dumpsters filled with refuse enshrined
Childhood demons loosely confined
Are darkly intertwined
With my dark shadow well defined
Tagging wall with phrases unkind
They are always there to remind
Memories I’ve tried to leave behind

Legs

Beautiful well-defined calves that meet with curvaceous thighs; no stunning crown of glory - but a solid foundation! From the time I first stood up and toddled at seven months - till today - unfailingly they’ve carried me down life’s path. Empirical, Actual and Real

Empirical, Actual and Real

Trump never heard of  anything empirical;
He is very verbose about it and hysterical;
Well defined;
Not his mind,
And missing in vocabulary is actual and real.

Jim Horn

I think all that Trump is doing is providing
a tinsey iddy bitty more information from
his tinsey iddy bitty brain for Saturday Night
Live.

Sensual Knots

Crossed lies laced in fusion bites and twisted cries,
Well defined curves accosted disheveled plight,
Myth sequence tunes harmony with turmoil;
Opened knots seek pleasure in coveted delight.

Focused eyes crafty lewd, turbulent and bright.
Simple erotica in its up turns and downs
Thirsty evasive passion seeking pleasure;
Out burst underplays the raptures in life.

The Rare Rainbow At Night

Listen to poem:
The Rare Rainbow at Night
David J Walker

by the hundreds
my regrets gather in the
cul-de-sac end of each day
each with its own number
each its own name and
definition connected to
a list of possible synonyms and
well defined antonyms of sins
committed in the past

the atonement of another tonight
is attached to a rainbow
i cannot see
until the morning

Uncertainty 2

There once was an alpha ray whose fate
Was the atomic nucleus to escape.
   But his energy was well defined
   And by a potential confined
A whole universe he had to wait.

 Explainer:
Another less well known version of the uncertainty principle is the refers to energy and time. So the more precisely you can measure energy, the less precisely you can measure time.

Utah Desert Sunset

Hold the beauty of the desert
it's wind cold
pristine
blanketing wide expanse
reckoning
awake to drifted thoughts
blown endless across plateaus silent far
where distant dreams painted in the sand
draw close with longing
like lips across a rose
eager for the touch of soft deep colors
well defined in quiet self repose
or the purple of the sky
now stayed together
the hazed sun orange red against.

The Sawdust

The sawdust lay upon the floor
Each speck was well defined.
'Thanks be to trees, ' one said aloud,
'That we are nothing more! '

But one poor speck just would not rest,
'There was a plan! ' cried he.
'We're not just dirt the wind blows 'round, '
God loves us don't you see? '

So all the specks contributed
To God's anointed specks
Until the day the trash was burned
And all God's specks were dead.

Art and Artifice

Delight! nothing could be more delightful
than when talent receives commendation
for effort that is one's own insightful
art with an original foundation.
...Stand and say without intimidation
...“I create from my own heart and mind.”
...your own witness worth hearing, well-defined.
I've met those who post A-I in comments;
mere placebo, neither helpful nor kind,
so ostentatious, perceived as pretense.

On life

Quote: “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” -- Mae West

Life's a puzzle, quite unknown,
With pieces lost and found anew.
The more you force the parts to align,
The more you see they don't quite knit.
Get out of the tangled web,
Step back, take a broader view,
And see life reveal its subtle aspects,
In the gaps and twists, you'll explore,
The art of living,
Well defined.

Yet It Still Is and Shall Always Be

snap your finger
and the gypsy dances
her groove strong and defined.
she speaks in whisper to be heard
her script is stored in her mind.
Her want is labored and saved,
you want is her to please
she only ask that you behave
as she gives you
what you think you need.
her labors are oldest on earth,
and your want is well defined.
a whore for free, til her labors attempt,
a prostitute, when you've been kind !

Well Shaped

Look right there

I can’t believe

Those flowing curves

So well defined

And that skin

So smooth so clear

It seems wrong

To see it this way

But there it is

For all to see

So firm so full

So all exposed

Still I guess

In these days

I should be use

To see these things

To see feet

And ankles

And calves

Still I love

Them to see

A well-shaped leg

Still a joy

For me
