Dumpster Dive

Meat and potatoes grind In the dimly lit alleys of my mind Under the lobster tails and lemon rind Inside dumpsters filled with refuse enshrined Childhood demons loosely confined Are darkly intertwined With my dark shadow well defined Tagging wall with phrases unkind They are always there to remind Memories I’ve tried to leave behind
