The Rare Rainbow At Night

Listen to poem:
The Rare Rainbow at Night
David J Walker

by the hundreds
my regrets gather in the
cul-de-sac end of each day
each with its own number
each its own name and
definition connected to
a list of possible synonyms and
well defined antonyms of sins
committed in the past

the atonement of another tonight
is attached to a rainbow
i cannot see
until the morning
