Bride and Groom

The bride in ancient civilization
Had a wedding dress on
The tools they used is our mystification
And the grooms name was Shawn

Near Widow

the woman with threadbare clothes
takes out the wedding dress
that was never worn--
she still waits for a soldier
after all these years

Miss Havisham's Wedding Dress

Lace
Flimsy
Floats on air
Like yesterday’s
Dreams

Sad
Broken
Mourning love
Alone bereft
Lost

Reflecting

My white wedding dress
  Now on my eldest daughter
    Twirling in mirror
I hope in twenty years she
        Won’t be invisible too

Wedding Dress

She stood, frozen in her
wedding dress; no one could tell
who was on her mind

Wedding Dress

The wedding dress was to long
Even the pastor tries to hurry it along
The pride took small steps
But still she side steps
Into fast time and ends up in Hong Kong

The moon gleams on your pallid complexion. I cannot keep my eyes off your charm. Your bony dance is frenetic. Your wedding dress is chilling. Your hand holds the sandglass. When you wish, I am ready to feel on my neck your sharp scythe.

Married Life

Well what can I say my darling hubby
I feel am getting rather chubby
I used to be thin but those days have gone
But at least we two are now as one

I am off work because of stress
I have now taken off my wedding dress
Work and the house have been on my mind
So I now need some time to try and unwind

Wedding Dress

What water falls remind me of:
As they dance between lands
Bringing life to death
High to Low
Calm and powerful
Awe is it's power
Stronger than the world
It's dance so beautiful
White like a wedding dress
The bride dancing with her husband
In the world she calls home
Bringing happiness
To those gazing upon her
I perfect awe

Wedding Dress

I walk down the aisle
But you are not yet there
Ding dong ding
The clock reads three
That bell that chime
Forever mocking me
I sink down
At the edge of the pew
Giving up on the dream of
me and you
Salty tears
Hit the floor
Love crimson in color
Pours from my hands
Pours from my heart
Pours from Me
And it stains
My wedding dress

Zombie Bride

She wears a creepy look
Blood on her face
Stare as sun shines
Matches her grimace.

Stained wedding dress
A bouquet of dead roses
Captivates my soul
Gives me short pauses.

She’s about to run away
Never let her go
Shall I be your man?
So please don’t say no.

A bang from the gun.
They run for their lives.
Stay on my side.
Be my zombie wife.

Aubade

The fabric of my flesh,
Once pure as a wedding dress
Is stained with intoxicating venom
From your love bites.
Thin red threads dance along my back,
Spun by nails like razors and passion’s grip.

My body sinks into you,
Like my fingers into memory foam
When your shark-like teeth sank into me.
Aching muscles, the dawn of exhaustion
Rises through my body with the morning sun.

Snow Day

I gaze out of my window and I see
Like shredded wings of angels in distress
The snow is falling, in enormous flakes!
An hour of gentle snow is all it takes
To clothe my garden in her wedding dress.

I love the snow when it is deep and fresh!
It renders clear the shouts of children’s play
Now ev'rything is shining, clean and white.
Snow deadens all the din of normal life …
And yet I’m glad to see it melt away!

4th World

Armed by the 4th world
Night is shaded into wedding dress white
Within the the walls of the city of sin
Helicopters flood the sky resonating sound
Warning those underground
The end is nigh kiss your future goodbye
As the man is creeping towards the door
Calculating your credit score
Welcome to world war 4
They have sealed every exit door
In order to cattle the poor
But it wont stop the revolution of this I am sure

Premium Member Vanilla Fondant

The wedding cake was vanilla fondant
 Its flavor did enchant
But it was truly a surprise
At how the cake was disguised

The guests knew not where to start
 They'd never seen this before
The groom took the first slice
And then everyone came back for more

All the guest had left Jenny Craig
They were tired of that mess
They ate and ate without finesse,
The cake itself was the wedding dress!

Premium Member She Said Yes

I can visualize
With my dreaming eyes
Her beauty in a wedding dress;
Much to my surprise
Like I fantasized
To my question she said, “Yes”

When she arrived
My Love Boat capsized
Who in this world could have guessed -
That I would realize
My dreams come alive
And hear her answer with a, “Yes”

With a heart revived
My soul did survive
The terror and the stress;
I was mesmerized
As my ears did strive
To hear her simply answer, “Yes”

One Year Gone

One year has gone by without you,
And still I ask myself, what did I do?
All I ever wanted was your love,
It's what I was always thinking of
You had to hurt me with a huge lie,
And to this day, I still ask myself why
I dreamt of the life we were to share,
And of my wedding dress I was to wear
I would have made you a great wife,
And we should've had a loving life
You're the one who threw my love away,
And I hope that you regret it every day
