winter jasmine


vibrant yellow shrub
pops against black wedding dress
love is forever

sunset cries anew
for new lovers while they dance 
love is immortal

snow falls at banquet 
holding hands at the marriage
love everlasting

her lips taste so pure
forsaken from the near truth 
love will be always

the shrubs run sideways
hugs are just as important
love is my dear friend

Dear Robert James L, this is so beautiful and i wouldnt have even noticed that youv written a string of senryus because of the seamless flow of one senryu to another and how youv maintained a very captivating cadence as well as how descriptive and heartfelt it is! I love the wintry imagery and also how every senryu ends with a line that depicts true love and eternal promises!
