On the busy walkway of the city shopping center
In the air of elegance ruffling her well-set auburn hair
She walks in style on her stockinged slender legs
With delicately encased feet reclined on the golden stilettos
The beat of high heels echoes in the throb of many hearts.

I pass by this old man who stays
By this walkway bench resting
Curious eyes gaze sight-seeing
He finds meaning here his way



Busy feet zigzag this walkway
With little time to stray or play
The old man styles a grin
Wanders in thoughts in-between
