Premium Member Mina Verbena
Mina Verbena is selling her herbs
in a cart that she sets in the road by the curb.
If you’ve got some spare change, then she’s got some thyme,
or a nice bit of parsley, for only a dime.

Mina Verbena grew up in the ‘burbs,
a seasoned young seller with plenty of verve.
Her herbs are enticing, with spice and panache;
to sample her flavors, she favors hard cash....

Premium Member Coffee In the Water
Fair Isle sweater
Fair woman fine
Torn up love letter
Red Bordeaux wine
Heart patterns in the sky
Sapphires for her eyes
Red velvet, soft caress
Jean jacket with a dress
Lessons where she's sitting down
I stand behind her arms around
Her, as I help to guide her hands
Mesmerized, I cannot stand
Lemon verbena in the air
Brie, Raclette, Anjou pear
Fragrant zephyr, apprehend
Time stand still, dream don't end...

PRETTY HARVEST Summer soaks up the vivacious sunlight, scented with nature’s lemon verbena. Her soft-hued dress resembles candlelight, She’s long and lean, with tanned wick and dark hair. A backdrop of warm tones of burnt orange, incite her virtuous figure to blaze. Shallow waves of wheat stroke her graceful feet, She’s a pretty harvest, ready to reap. 10/19/2016

Swans amid the blossoming cherry trees gifts the springtime waters; I cast my eyes beneath the early evening moon’s light to see a white stag silently watching them. Among the verbena that flanks the river, a lone doe leaps from the trees for a cool drink and I watch her drink her fill. Stooping to pick some dianthus, I smile at the stag’s glance at her, knowing that Mama Nature will always nurture the magic of love.

Springing In Questions
what will you feel
when you see
the summer
smiles their brightness
through portulaca and verbena

what will you hear
when spring comes
and flutters with
their daylight wings
through swallows and thrushs

what will you dream
through the bloomy twilights
till
the wet dews welcome
your new day

share me
not
those mournful stories

sing me
not
those sad songs

what will you answer
when you read
this
springing questions
