Divinity
Art….

Man’s attempt at
  usurping creation

Rejecting all dogma,
  —becoming divine

(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2017)...

Unseen
Unseen

With the falling

of the booming petals

a tale is told

that of the unseen

purging the past

usurping the present

wrecking the senses...

A Sporkful of Surreal
usurping the scene
with slurping obscene
sputtering spittle and steam
then spraying a particle beam
that succotash was green
if you know what I mean

(be careful where you eat beans)

1983 Years Ago Yesterday
1983 years ago yesterday,
Jesus died in Jerusalem,
Murdered by the government,
For usurping and mayhem.

Did Jesus die for you and me?
Today in 2016, did he know us,
Personally and with his mind?
No! Certainly not, mind the fuss!...

As beguiling costumes dazzle eyes flashing glitter heightens indulgences. Jasmine kisses lightheadedly make nerves of passion quiver. Rhinestone stars twinkle usurping Venus with xanthic yellow zircons. (ABC Poem)

Three Magi
They had been following his star.
Was it Luther, Calvin or Smith?
Quickly approaching
is second Millennium of his crucifixion.

Where are his signs?
Pastors are usurping the Lord
with prophetic messages,
eager to sit on his throne.

Is he among us,
somewhere homeless,
unrecognized?
The Wise still seek him....

Premium Member It Is Impossible Says Your Morose Self
It is impossible, your morose self says.
Do not try it.
You will fail.

Your joyful self laughs at morose's silliness.
We can!
She says.
We do!
We will!
Let's start this second.

But wait, sad sack morose self says.
Do I not get a say?

You already did, joyful self reminds him.
Usurping him in every way.

Thank God!...

My Code
Worlds apart--both you and I
In the distance a cold MannahattA
Thoughts divine, splendid memoriuM
Hours I wait for my beautiful swaN
Outside is damp, dull--Listless--nO!
Underneath this smile, never quainT
Tomorrow is forever on my breatH
Years alone in nothingness, yet I
Over turn her frame once agaiN
Usurping my soul--the loudest BanG...

They say that, physical people
are meaty – and our smartest
are brainy – but the religious,
less Divine, for only one had
power over water into wine;

yet what we do in laboratories
now, has greatly complicated
our religious stories, when modern
man seems usurping many of
God's Glories...

So what can the inquisitive truly
surmise, if stars in the sky
are also in man's eyes?...

Poor Man Prayer
‘I leave am for God’
Is the poor man's prayer
When he submits to higher realms
Transferring judgement to higher forces
The answer to that prayer is often terrifying

When you take another for granted
Trampling on another because you are advantaged
Usurping communal wealth because you are in charge
Bleeding the flock you are supposed to pastor
It is the poor man that bears the brunt

Don't fall a victim...

It is enough for you to earn peace in a bleak plight. And in times of need, that end comes from inner sight. Also, your reason should be to expand worth and right. In an era where the historical roots are usurping weight. And that understanding guides you on your flight. Also, you are not content with sight alone or bright. Such assets cannot be purchased, for a complete incite.

Drive
I love my Saturday morning drives. I have a weakness for watching the pinkish golden Iowan sun rise above and break through the naked treetops cascading shards of light down the hillsides. As the sun’s rays cast over the sky, usurping the deep purples of night, my breath gets taken away. Dreading the sunsets when I have to let my sunshine go, my life fades into darkness, and I feel alone. It’s moments like these that remind me of how beautiful the world can be....

Taboo
Unloving feeling makes death so appealing
To all who are willing
Usurping all of which is forbidden
The mass denial of what is right
A common sight of all those who are living
Ask now and you shall recieve
Remember nothing comes for free
We take for granted everything but
everything is not for us to swim in
Be rest assured the time will come
when everything will burn while Death is grinning
For all the things stumbled upon
For all the things which always were forbidden!!...

Expectations
By Parizö Van Thulare

They can ruin your inner self
And leave you hanging on those shelves
In a shape of pledges they transform
In a speed of a drone they come
Usurping hopes
inventing an innocent heart with holes
They always collide with a human heart
hijacking that energy which was left a while
They make no appointments
They are capable of disappointments
To wear a happiness
Always expect less
To feel the breeze
You have to hold onto your sleeves...
