Today
Talk about the future
and spoil the present
Fox in the henhouse
rats in the barn

Moment’s unspoiled
never in reference
Today, not tomorrow
prescience the charm

Touch
Her skin, an arabesque marble - unspoiled by mortal touch - beckons the warmth of
Another such,
That will eclipse every cold, bare and lonely night,
Laying in darkness,
And searching,
For light....

The Kite
The kite went left
Right – the wind blew
Silently as a thief,
unspoiled blue
welcomes a guest;

It is easy to rest
Above – inconspicuous
but to the mind’s eye,
Glorious because
an unique design....

Inertia
Unspoiled autumn age
Anon ridge my god picks way
Strong buck bears his burdens high

I soul-less, hunt sight
Forest warmth and bounty hoard
Resting only in god’s ruins

the endless sorrow
inescapable regret
that will linger, fade
reappear in the future

Fait Accompli'
A gift or obligation,
  the Poet signed his name

A promise wrapped in silence,
  decision masked by pain

One choice among the many,
  within salvation lies

The victors lay unspoiled
—with truth to live or die

Morlocks
MORLOCKS

Streets are swept clean, unseen
Order is preserved, unobserved
Of trash they will dispose, we suppose
Our daylight life
Is unspoiled by
Darker parts of our existence.
Night-time is for the Morlocks
Who disappear when the sun comes up....

Languishing momentarily near ominous
Peaks, quietly resting,
Surrounding tree-lined unspoiled vistas, while exploiting yon zenith

Unspoiled
An azure sky, by God’s good grace

Above this hallowed place reclines

Where sunlit lakes reflect the face

of mountain range and forest pines.

Unblemished view for tired eyes

Quietly dreaming ‘neath azure skies

Most days, my thoughts
Are consumed by phantom pugilism
With things that once were
But long in absentia.

I re-trace the missteps,
That became teaching tools,
In the grandeur of life;

My unspoiled moments,
The fourth dimension has purloined,
Leaving me to mark time
With no pronounced purpose....

Writer's Block
A solitary pencil line,
stretched taught
on distant snow.
Cleaves blank sky
from frozen ground.
Gives hope of where to go.

Accidental thought
creates a tree I toil towards
its trembling twigs
find only that I'm lost
and all about me
unspoiled virgin white
except the fading words
from where I've been....

The greatest of men
  he bled the truth,
his wounds for all to share

A symbol relived
  a life unspoiled,
  courage all too rare

The towering hawk
  the thundering storm,
  hailstones mark the way

A moment in time
  a vision embraced
   —his name the children pray

A Step Beyone the Veil
Upon awakening from a dream, I found myself laying there, the vision had become a blur....What I saw is far hard to explain....So sacred of beauty it was....untouched and unspoiled....belonging to another place, another time....it floated in the air, dancing around me, I reached out for it, but it danced higher above me....once again life has allowed me to see beyond the lining.......

Fresh Peaches
Broken fruit stacked forward, with
their tender lip-soft skins
scuffed among her unspoiled sisters.

Lonely is the unripe peach
hoping to be chosen,
turning her sun side out, beckoning,
longing to be washed and tasted, and
not knowing of her immature bitterness.

They always reach back
for the fresh loaf of bread
at the back of the shelf.

its not the same for fruit....

Fall River
There’s a dazzle on the river an October sun shine-sheens, makes it flow brighter as a fresh light awakens its old soul. An unspoiled air blossoms on every lip, long dead shadows are shed. Silver fish seem to leap out of sparkling eyes. Some days flow like wine we get drunk on ourselves; watch Autumn walk on water, a normal miracle once more discovered.

Unspoiled
Youth
                                       untouched
                                           innocence
                                                   wide eyed wondering
(mostly) pure in word and deed
wants of nothing more than fun and frolicking

Summer Suns
immortal in my heart
are the moments with her in my embrace
lost myself in her tender loves
her unspoiled gaze is the home iv sought
all my life
the warm seasons of my heart
belong to her
like two summer suns together we live as one
forever in the beautiful illusions
of summers everlasting days
and deep pure nights
as one we live
as one we breath
this eternal love
this gift sweet and dear...

The Key Holder
Open
A gate, a key
To greater turmoil
Overture to greater beauty
Unspoiled.

Fear not
Discovery
When your eyes look upon
Rough trail, hiding territory
Beyond.

Count not,
Walk regardless
Of the pros and the cons
Dreams are in the making, unless
You doubt.

Seek Ye
That gate, that key
That you may come to know
Treasure untold; that ye the key
Do hold.

Wanderers
Wanderers we have been

Off to distant climes,

Restless curiosity

Led to inquiring minds.

Daring to take the risk

Challenges to be fought,

Reaching for the highest peak

Unspoiled lands, we sought.

Island paradises too, secluded and serene

Searching for the seldom trod,

Each journey, was our dream.

Alex
Purple hair
Deep brown eyes
Someone who can fight
Despite all the lies

See a frown
Upon his face
You give him a hug
To remove its every trace

Unaware of how much
He is loved
We would fight all his fears
Have them all shoved

He is an amazing friend
And can not be forgotten
Always be wanted
Unspoiled and unrotten

For Alex inspires me
To be all that I can
So everyone please stand up
And give him a hand :)...
