Premium Member Love In Love With Love
Dust clings to the broom
meant to clean the room.
The same is with thought,
that’s ego begot.

To hold hand of God,
gallop in unshod,
leaping to embrace,
free from fear forms trace.

In my lifetime, Russia went from 'godless communism'
to 'the defender of traditional values and patriotism'

While America turned from a proud free nation under God

Nine Things
A wise old oak, the image of a long dead god.
Staves of mystery and fate, nine horses all unshod.
Ancient youthful rays, a gray stone palisade.
A sword that has scarce drawn blood, blackthorn and a bit of nightshade....

Vaporised in a mist
To our utmost surprise, we felt bliss rapture rise
Who’d resist

Guided by God
Love drenched heart danced in heaven’s highs
Unshod

Love’s kiss
Between our eyes
Bliss

Vaporised in a mist
Love drenched heart danced in heaven’s highs

Premium Member Reclaim inner light
Celebrate fall, celebrate rise,
for it is after all, a game
over before ink of heart dries,
so let’s fulfil here now soul’s aim.

The times’ now to give love a nod,
entering cave of heart unshod,
transformed therein as living light,
pulsating with joy, day and night....

How chafed the foot bereft of sole,
when unshod thoughts meet splintered floor.
Known terra firma drifts from whole,
as reason loses sight of shore.

Empty Soles
Warm leather once danced on happy feet
Now cold and still abandoned by the wall
Lovers strolled along moonlit paths
The pairs now long gone into the past
Children played joyfully in the park
Those shoes are carelessly tossed
Young and old marched to their death unshod
Leaving behind empty soles heaped high...

Premium Member The Garments Hem
They answer questions seldom asked
tend to the mundane, "lesser" tasks
their halos tilted scally caps
homilies of wilted raps
soulless homeless shooting craps
rattling unnumbered dice
you may win once, never twice.
These voices of the lesser god
bedeviled by a life unshod
still reach to touch the garments hem
of gods that turned away from them.

Industrilization
The monotony enough to drive a poor man mad But what is an old man’s heart in the eyes of production Money’s what we want! Money’s what we want! Let the children work The women too For next to nothing, anything they’ll do Coughing up blood? There’s always another The machines are too dangerous for unshod kids Doesn’t matter Doesn’t matter What are you going to do?

Conundrums
Abandoned shoeprints
pressed between night and day.

Muddy, empty, discarded,
throats wide open,
mouths mutely appealing,
tongues untied,

revealed in the act
of escaping
both dark and light.

Two elderly men sip tea.
The loud ticking of a communal clock.
Unshod feet shuffle in white cotton.

Perpetual twilight stirs milk
in dimming eyes.
Exasperated attendants hunt
for lost shoes....

Pieces of Heart
Oh, darling!
Look what you did,
To trust you again,
My heart forbids.

My blood can neglect,
These nerves can bear.
But tell me, were you been paid,
To be my betrayer?

Left the pieces of my heart,
On the street you walk unshod,
Giving warmth by your feet,
On the tears I shed.

Wild fetishes of yours,
With my sweet fantasies,
Could never fine-tuned.
Might be the reason for our RUIN....

Premium Member A Note In the Wind
A note in the wind is released by our soul,
borne of burning yearning to unite with God,
for entwinement alone will make us feel whole,
so in silence we enter our heart unshod,
feeling therein divine bliss, scriptures extol,
becoming the flame itself, that leaves us awed.
Our unvoiced intent thus released into space,
ignites bliss within, as outpourings of grace.

Premium Member The Dichotomy of Life
The Dichotomy of Life Written: by Tom Wright 6/8/2018 I’ve raced unshod through life, * Physically seeking a resting place where none existed. Only my consenting ears beheld, The silent murmurings of the wind; Some days, doubt plagued my mind, Leaving me torn betwixt reality, and pretend. As life disintegrates, I seem to sprint toward sunset, And the colorless apparition of death;

Premium Member - Clean Feet -
Humble yourself in unshod feet
Burning hot sand between the toes
Green palm leaves under bright blue sky
Listen to the story and guard it well

Read the writing in the sand before the tide comes
Judgment power, as lightning before thunder
Tell smiles and hugs instead of your pain and tears
Love will always consist, miracles are shown before

Premium Member burn the book
someone somewhere awakens
shares insights of wisdom realised
he addresses the mind of our soul
ego prefers data weighed and sized

canvas contorted, truth is distorted
what was alluded to remains unknown
lost in serpentine labyrinths of symbols
seeds of a nebulous religion are sown

if we’d know what does not come and go
in as the absolute truth transcendental
we need to tip toe into pure heart unshod
our eye nonjudgmental and touch gentle...
