Willingness To Forget

Ready to forget,
burning every memory
with this swollen wrath;
if I took it to my grave
unrest would be my sure curse!

Stare

A moment to capture statute
                      in statuesque interest provoked
by stoke of rest in unrest of poke.

Civil Unrest

a chastushka

Civil noncompliance like whiskey
ages slow with pressure until...
Laws that render conscience risky
should be labeled a reflux still.

Unrest Broken Heart

Violent Cyclone
                                                Nature loses its balance
                                                   unrest broken heart

Smiles Baby Droplets

Thunder crashes on
Unrest clouds in the Sky's womb
                                                  Smiles tiny droplets

Do I resist the temptation of my unrest
Follow the steps to retract
Emptiness flares to a bidding high of heartlessness
A fool am I
A love of a thousands times swept away

Sorry

Sorry at the end of
statement cannot erase
sadness created by
spoken words or actions
so be careful while you're
speaking, better to be
silent to end unrest

Shall Suggest Civil Unrest

Shall Suggest Civil Unrest

What I wanted to do was suggest,
My favorite subject is civil unrest;
Write about,
With no doubt,
That always will have been best.

3am

I hear bamboo rustling

Something creaking

Three warm bodies lay sleeping - I'm not

3am how I've missed you...In my dreams

Night time is a playground for a mind at unrest

All Are Unrest

Present will be past in future
Future will be present again in future
Past will come back with newly born face
Future is waiting to start its race
Past present future all are unrest

swirling in the depth of the shadow land
A twirling blizzard of unrest,
chaos firmly in place

i felt lost,
bereft, alone,

Premium Member Winter chose to slumber

Listen to poem:
In this endless false fall, a summer sun fell down
Off the flattest edge of the planet, outside of town
Ice grew slowly over every part of this lumber
The world at full unrest; winter chose to slumber

Painting

P alette of blue and gold,
A swirl of stars that hold
I llusions of unrest, but
N ow seem to protect

rising to the skies
red wings amongst evergreens
butterfly unrest

a citrine sun quest
off to sweet destinations
sounds of noonday gong

shadows are waiting
the day is so still and warm
save flurries of red

Premium Member Me At the Rocks

Heavy on the rocks
My weight burdens Earth's unrest
Slanted eyes recall

What brought me here now
Seeking like winter fauna
An alert peace stills

Sonorous in clouds
Above my deep distance
Birds seem to call me

Huddled Masses

The huddled masses

They came here
from war and starvation
to seek
freedom from religion
and ethnic
disharmony.
But some came
to sow
unrest
turn time back
to the
period of war
murder
and
no freedom of speech

Pieces of Me

On City sidewalk corners
stands anger,
Desperation and Pain.
Buyers, Sellers, Pushers!
BANG! BANG! BANG!
stop; look around
faceless stranger lays dead.
I calmly walk away.
Pieces of me dripping
into the river of unrest
