Notes About The Poem

Crimson Wings

rising to the skies
red wings amongst evergreens
butterfly unrest

a citrine sun quest
off to sweet destinations
sounds of noonday gong

shadows are waiting
the day is so still and warm
save flurries of red

Hi Evelyn, I enjoy reading you because I know I'm going to seeing the the written word come to life before my eyes. Nothing is dull, everything has much color. I could just picture tall evergreens. Good content and imagery. Have a great evening:-) Alexis

I just love the way you use colors in your poems, Evelyn! It makes your words "pop" like a pop of color in a room! Sending you a "pop of color" for spring and a blessing on butterfly wings!

Seems a storm is brewing. Even the butterflies are restless.
