Guinness stout in clinking glass
he drank whole night en masse.
Through the day he dreamed Celtic dreams umpteen.
The boxing, leaping mad March hares
That chase and dash in umpteen pairs,
That tear through fields, and hare up hills -
All jealous Jacks, or Jacks and Jills
(The femme fatales, the luckless beaus)?
But are they crazy? No one knows…

What a way to appear on screen

Inspiring is the bond unique
Between these belles prolific
A wish gushes from heart mine
May their kinship be intact and fine..!!

Sliver the Soul
Had it been easy to construe meaning of life,
Logical mind would stop digging and being keen,
No fear of death could put an end to all strife,
As we unveil treasures of nature umpteen,
Sliver half the soul that doesn't believe in unseen.

Absolutely contented people,
Banking collapse in America,
Dropped like a bullock, lay like a block,
Lost to meltdown.
Umpteen colossal buildings,
Symbol and homage to science,
Devastating earthquake , tumbled down,
Lost to meltdown .
Avid bewildered desires,
Rising high with a dash but going adrift,
Bemused their zing to malady prostration,
Lost to meltdown.
For knowledge and wisdom, I glean
geometry, physics, science,
philosophy, and tomes umpteen!
In search of shrewd intelligence,
I forsake college's campus scene;
and pursue rhyme's magnificence,
spinning lines on the wheel and loom,
and threaded weave, of the rhymer
than idle in a dull classroom
(wishing for death by Oppenheimer).
