---or that complex, either. A robot would analyze the temperature/weather data and issue a warning and/or do something about it. We humans analyze the data, interpret it in all sorts of different ways, and then sit on our behinds and argue about the interpretations. 'Nero fiddles while Rome burns.' :) gw

Thank you, teacher... In Chicago, it's so obvious that something's afoot. Winter's gone from 4 months down to 2 year in and year out (including this year). And December has been very pleasant most years from the early 1990's on... I used to go skating outdoors from December 17 or so on an outdoors pond every day when I was a kid in the 1950's ...Can't do that anymore (unless it's artificial ice)… :) gw
