Beyond Hope
As we try to revisit the treatments…

Hoping for a revelation.

As the milligrams tick upward.

My delusions are still unstoppable.

As my fate is no longer in the beyond.

But rather, the beyond is in me....

My Tumor and I
a tear in each eye
surviving the bad hair days
my tumor and I
both shrink from radiation
the treatments tear us apart

My Smile
A good dentist is hard to find
the treatments ok
it's the paying I mind.
The background music
makes me relax,
fillings, extractions
you just have the knack.
I'm glad that I don't need
to come back for a while,
And I'd just like to thank you
for giving back my smile....

Holly had always wanted to ride a bike.
But her body was ravaged with cancer from a young age.
She had never been strong enough to ride one.
Her life was filled with radiation treatments and injections.
When she passed her grandmother said “She is riding a bike now”.
And she was....

teddy bear watched over her while she slept
we were grateful she had him in the hospital
so many hours, so many treatments, so much pain
when she went to heaven, we imagined him with her
protecting her in the midst of heaven as he had in life
it gave us a tiny bit of comfort to see him in her coffin...

My husband’s post-concussion work injury barely improved this past year. Dizziness and headaches still plague him. No solution have I found for my own rare conditions. My son nearly got divorced. My dear daughter got breast cancer and continues with treatments even now. May good outweigh the bad in '24....

How the World Is About
Sharp swords on the necks
           of innocent folks,
good people are standing
           to speak the truths,
stubborn guys continue being
    proud of their ill-treatments.
Angels of God are frustrating
Because of  their evil actions.
Lies continue to be their manipulative tools
to capture minds and thoughts of many folks.

I Helped the Needy
Assignment: 25,000 dollars to help a needy family

There is such a place that is for sale for twelve thousand dollars
I would do some minor renovations for seven thousand
Turn on the utilities one thousand dollars
Stock the shelves with groceries six hundred dollars
Window treatments four hundred dollars
The remainder would go to buy a car or pay utilities

For Carol's contest...

India’s thinkers are ahead of their time.
Making medicines out of manure from their bovine.
Urine too has a place of honor in their lab.
They use it in treatments, but please do not blab.

I would like to meet the brilliant thinker of the day.
Who decided poop and urine might be the way.
To cure some diseases – was this idea heaven-sent?
Or were they just lucky their mind was so bent?...

while lying on the floor

Cosmetic Beauty
What a beautiful face it seems
Her teeth is perfect and white as she beams
Why don't I have that beauty one screams
And so to the beauty parlour with many dreams
to get makeup treatments and many creams
And another falls to the cosmetic industry schemes
For the beautiful face is a product of Photoshop teams
Its the lasting inward character beauty that redeems
But the passing cosmetic fools gold is what society esteems...

Premium Member The Robe of Jesus
It starts with a loss of taste
and quickly has us questioning our faith

To some we take the drive to the doctors room
where with medicine and diagnosis he begins to groom

But some still need to lie down on a hospital bed
where love, treatments and healing is fed

But it's the gown that speaks to our soul
Jesus shed his own to let us know

He is with us every step and every breath
and will hug us with his own threads until we rest...

Did We Evolve From Monkeys
I have B negative blood

If my blood type is unknown of where it started from and it doesn't match monkeys as a positive blood type which is 85% of the whole world, then this proves we did not evolve from monkeys well I didn't, lol monkeys do not have negative types of blood they are all positive blood types. A negative mother cannot give birth from a farther who has a positive blood type unless a doctor gives her treatments.

What's left?

God...

thought it was a good
morning that always went well
I got up to a
very cranky hubby that
decided not talk or eat

fabulous morning
everything I did was right
last cancer treatment
a very happy hubby
excited to talk and eat

2/29/2016

My hubby just finished his last of his 45 radiation treatments last Monday and doing well.

Gelt
Gelt

quintessential of the mankind
for bread and butter
for toys and desires
for a ride to long highways to high mountains
for a disease's physic to treatments to obsequies

Quintessential of the mankind
Owes to his sweat and blood
Owes to his sacrifice and slumber
Owes to his peace and passion

The gelt
The quintessence of their incessant days
The quintessence of their relentless dreams
And I want diamonds that owes to the gelt......

Recoil

Being hit, makes me flinch.
What hits…?
The doctor, the dentist, the mechanic,
bills, taxes, and death.
There are others…
Cheaters, liars, deceivers, divorce,
cancer, its treatments, and death.
The common denominator in my plight?
Not death, but the lack of hope.

Patient Denies
The doctor was one I’d not met.
Her thoughts about treatments were set.
I didn’t agree
So her questions to me
Were the kind I would rather forget.

But the one thing that I did surmise
Was that she was convinced I told lies
For when I answered “No”
To some queries she’d throw
Her report stated, “Patient denies.”

What most bothered me, reading her notes
Was the comment (I’ll put it in quotes):
She “appears stated age”
Maybe so, but I’d wage
Her demeanor won’t get many votes.
